Don't know if Dallas would accept this, if not we could add a first-round pick:

New York trades: SF Keith Van Horn (16.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 1.7 apg in 33.8 minutes)
C Kurt Thomas (11.5 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 33.2 minutes)
New York receives: C Tariq Abdul-Wahad (11.5 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 33.2 minutes)
SF Josh Howard (8.1 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.4 apg in 22.9 minutes)
SF Antawn Jamison (15.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 30.1 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -4.3 ppg, -3.8 rpg, and -1.2 apg.

Dallas trades: C Tariq Abdul-Wahad (11.5 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 33.2 minutes)
SF Josh Howard (8.1 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.4 apg in 22.9 minutes)
SF Antawn Jamison (15.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 30.1 minutes)
Dallas receives: SF Keith Van Horn (16.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 1.7 apg in 39 games)
C Kurt Thomas (11.5 ppg, 8.9 rpg, 1.9 apg in 45 games)
Change in team outlook: +4.3 ppg, +3.8 rpg, and +1.2 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

Due to New York and Dallas being over the cap, the 15% trade rule is invoked. New York and Dallas had to be no more than 115% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I was looking for something balanced...

Check this out...

New York trades:
SF Keith Van Horn (16.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 1.7 apg in 33.8 minutes)
PF Othella Harrington (4.3 ppg, 2.9 rpg, 0.5 apg in 14.1 minutes)
New York receives:
SF Antawn Jamison (15.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 30.1 minutes)
PF Danny Fortson (3.8 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.2 apg in 11.8 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -1.4 ppg, +1.4 rpg, and -1.0 apg.

Dallas trades:
SF Antawn Jamison (15.7 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 1.0 apg in 30.1 minutes)
PF Danny Fortson (3.8 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 0.2 apg in 11.8 minutes)
Dallas receives:
SF Keith Van Horn (16.6 ppg, 7.1 rpg, 1.7 apg in 39 games)

Change in team outlook: +1.4 ppg, -1.4 rpg, and +1.0 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED
Trade ID number 1447166

Both teams have pluses and minuses. I didn't include KT since some believe teh Mavs won't take him.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I dun think dallas would do that...it looks basically like a lateral move wit a slight advantage on the knicks side of it.

Both of those other trades are extremely lopsided and make no sense for Dallas. My trade is very fair. Deke, Thomas, and F.Wills for Jaminson.

Actually in relation to the NBA its giving up two backups and one up-an-coming player for a star.

LMAO my trade is lopsided, I send Van Horn and Thomas to Dallas along with a first-round pick and that is more lopsided than you sending Deke, Thomas, and Frankie to Dallas for Jamison? Are you crazy? Dallas would never do your trade, my trade would at least be considered and maybe they would even do it.

We really dont need Kurt or Deke, we really NEED what JAmison brings. Doleac would be fine at center for 25 minutes or more a game.

Some people in this forum don't know anything about basketball.

Well, Those 2 "backups" r much better than Harrington and Doleac, and in relation to nba, since kurt and deke start for the knicks, theyre starters

I hope that you are speaking of yourself becuase it is ridiculous that you think Dallas would even look at trading their great rookie and jamison for van horn and thomas. Why would they do that? Do you even know what you are saying?

i think dallas would love to have deke and k-thom... thats wat there always complaining about, some down low defender/ ok offensive force, which is wat k-thom is, and a reliable shot blocker, who has the most blocks in one game this season and is currently # 4 in the nba in bpg....deke
marbury with the cross over..... and yao falls on his ass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and as far as not wanting to tade frank williams, did everyone forget about moochie norris.. u kno... the guy who had two 8 assist games his first 3 games in ny. moochi is probly as good as williams will ever be... especially at the pg postion on ny, cuz marbury will always be our starter unless he is hurt

Trust me. Dallas is NOT going to accept Deke in a trade. The poor guy can barely walk up stairs without icing his knees. With the kind of offensive system they run, he wouldn't be considered in any trade.

Deke is a perfect fit for Dallas considering he only needs 20 minutes and is one of the best in the league in blocks.

Again, you completly missed my point. He CANNOT run the floor the way that the Mavericks run their offense, therefore he does NOT fit there system, irregardless whether he can play 20 minutes a game (doubtful) and block shots.
