We should trade for Jamison instead of Weed. He can play both the PF and SF and give 20 points and 7 boards a night. Dallas will trade him becuase he is only a role player and they have Josh Howard playing over him anyway. We can probably get him with a trade of K. Thomas,Deke, and F. Williams. Our lineup would be:

sf-Van Horn
pf-Jamison
c-Doleac (he plays very well with marbury)

Whats the deal? Kurt and Deke? What group of players do we have that make Dallas want to trade Twan for us?

I wouldn't give up both Deke and KT. Doleac does play good w/ marbury, but so does thomas. Besides, alot of centers would plain out overpower Doleac.
I don't see Isaiah trading Kurt anyway. He's already commented on how he wants to keep kurt and refuses to talk about any trade rumors involving him. He would most likely try to trade KVH first.

I would not want to trade KT & Deke in a 2-for-1 deal. I'd want KVH in a deal like that if at all possible.

May not be a good idea to trade our best rebounder, our best blocker(s) for another SF who can't rebound or play D. Two starters for a back-up, Isiah should slap you.

i dont think its a good trade, OBVIOUSLY we dont need another SF. however, i woulndt say 2 starters for a back up. jamison is a starter on a lot of teams and mutumbo is a back up on most teams , and thomas is a back up on teams with a good PF lol

I think this trade has been hashed out in the thread "Sheed and Jamison". Knicks give up waaay too much.

There should be some kind of sanity clause with RealGM trades. Something like:

"TRADE ACCEPTED. But lay off the bong cause no one in their right mind would do this reverse-Laydon trade."

"They must not think too highly of Jamison in Dallas becuase they play rookie Josh Howard over him."

Your not watching Dallas games. Howard was playing when Finely was out. Now he doesnt get much burn at all. Those guys mostly play at the 2. Jamison is a 4 that can play the 3

The Knicks are MUCH better with a front court of Jamison and Doleac over Thomas and Deke ANYDAY. Jamison is the athletic frontcourt player Isiah (and Stephon) covets but dont have the chips to trade for.

WHAT?!? are you kidding? Knicks would become the Dallas of the East, only much worse. They become a better offensive team but not more of an increase as much as the defensive decrease. wow.

I would trade Thomas and Mutombo for Jamison in a heartbeat. As fishmike said, Doleac and Jamison would make the Knicks a better frontcourt. Mutombo is not going to give us much other than his defensive presence, so from him to Doleac really wouldn't be that much of a downgrade at all. As for Kurt, Jamison would definitely be an upgrade over him, he would fit very nicely with Marbury since he is an athletic froncourt player. As fishmike said though, we don't have the chips to land Jamison.

why why why if your Dallas and have a PG that races up the floor and a group of frontcourt players in Walker, Jamison and Dirk that are all GREAT rebounders and run well, do you want to add two of the slowest footed forwards in the NBA??

Deke and Kurt arent helping the Mavs... If I am Cuban or Nelson I say no thanks.

I *might* take Kurt Thomas but JAmison sure as hell isnt going to be in the deal.

*IF* Steve Nash bolts this offseason you might be able to get Jamison for KVH and Frank Williams, *IF* Frank plays very well the rest of this year as a backup to Marbury and shows bigtime starter potential.
