i remember seeing a little of him play during the tourney last year & thought he played with great tenacity & toughness, & he's got nice athleticism & a pretty decent midrange J... not too bad of a post game & can work in the PnR as well... he's a little undersized at 6'7" but he plays bigger than his height because of his 7'2" wingspan... i'm surprised he wasn't drafted over the summer.

i wouldn't mind bringing him in for a look... we could use someone who can bring some added toughness & rebounding off the bench right now... he recently joined up with a D League team & after his 1st 2 games is averaging 15 & 11 in 33 min off the bench.

just a little snippet from his Wikipedia page:

Adrien was not selected in the 2009 NBA Draft, but later signed with Spanish league's Leite Río Breogán in Lugo, Spain.

In 2009, Adrien accepted an invite to play on a team in the Orlando Pro Summer League. The team was run jointly by both the New Jersey Nets and the Philadelphia 76ers. He also played for the Memphis Grizzlies in the Vegas Summer League. On the Grizzlies team, playing alongside fellow UConn alumni Marcus Williams, Rudy Gay and Hasheem Thabeet, he led the team in rebounding.

Adrien played for the Orlando Magic in the Orlando Pro Summer League in 2010.[12]

On August 24, 2010, Adrien was invited to the Golden State Warriors training camp.[13] On October 10, 2010, Adrien scored 11 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in 22 minutes in a preseason game against the Sacramento Kings[14] He made the Warriors' final roster, but was waived in December 2010 to make room for Acie Law.[15]

seems like he's got no ties w/any NBA team right now... i think he's worth a look... we can easily waive Roger Mason, Jr. to make room on the roster.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Good call. Just one of many capable guys out there that are available right now provided we do what needs to be done (sever ties with Mason Jr. already)..Astonishing that a low-grade move such as this hasn't been done already. I mean WT flyin' F are they waiting for? Amar'e & Turiaf to both go down, God forbid???
