![]() Geoff Petrie.
Looks like Sacramento is cleaning house (good idea) by canning Westphal (good idea) and Petrie (bad idea IMHO). The guy has much better qualifications than Houston or He Who's Name Must Not Be Spoken. Loved watching those Bibby/Christie/Webber Kings teams give the Kobe/Shaq Lakers all they could handle. Drafted: Turkoglu 16th in 2000 which was pretty good considering the rest of the draft http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_draft_history/2000.html Gerald Wallace 25th in 2000 aka the Eddy Curry Draft. Great draft with Parker and Arenas also being taken late here. http://www.nbadraft.net/nba_draft_history/2001.htmlBtw good example of a player who had potential but just couldn't get playing time. horrible coach or just not ready when he was younger?) of course he decided to give webber a huge extension instead of paying the above mentioned kids, which didn't work out because webber got hurt. In any case, he's proven he's not a total moron which makes him better than half the GMs in the league. If we can't attract any superstars he has experience building around just one, Chris Webber. btw Webber in his prime..better than Amare? Skillwise..I'd say yes. Alpha-dog gene wise, Amare's got the edge. Webber passed the ball like a hot potato in the clutch, Amare takes 3s and makes em. Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
