im my opinion two guys who hearts were/are and will always be in the right place when it comes to the knicks. how ewing left was really really bad. it looked like the yankees were going to make a similar mistake with derek jeter. but things sorted itself out and it looks like he will retire in new york, and ewing should have. starbury is just that player that needed a ewing but didnt know. i remember reading wade say that he told the knicks courting him "give me a star and i will give you a ring" maybe starbury was not humble enough to accept he needed a star too.

out of all the past players pat and steph are two players i would like to see back in the knicks fold again. merry knixmas.

Ewing left because he asked to.

Marbury is his own star.

I always regretted Ewings departure as unfortunate as he burned a few bridges along the way. His legacy was never cemented and those bridges were hard to fix.

Ewing and Crazybury should not be mentioned in the same sentence, ever.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

herb williams, allan houston. there did i make things better. those are the two that get to stay on after their knicks playing days.

i have zero in common with herb williams, i dont even remember him playing, so why does he get forever knick treatment lol. while steph who new yorkers have known since he was a kid, playing in blooklyn cant even get passed msg security. and allan houston this is the same guy who passed on knee surgery to let god heal his knee.. do we really want this guy being groomed as gm? pat ewing comeback!

If you want to describe the mulfanctioning organoization both examples are the most obvious.
Getting read of good people and bringing bad people is what bad management always does.
Like a players and people this 2 have nothing in common.

+1,000,000,000,000

Please do not mention Ewing in the same sentence. As Starbury.

The way I remember it, Ewing left badly but when he came back to have his number raised at the Garden the fans showed him the love. I even remember hearing him say it went a long way towards healing the rift. Fortunately I was lucky enough to be at that game and it was the loudest I had heard the Garden since the early 90's.Ewing knows NY loves him, even if the franchise isn't perfect.

I really don't care about Marbury, he is a speed bump I would rather just forget.

Are you the second coming of Anji? You want to kiss and make with Marbury? Go for it, just leave the Knicks out of it.

i think we should send Eddy & Steph on a good will mission to Afghanistan... i'm sure they could use a little holiday cheer... the Taliban that is... i'm sure they'd be safe.
