Yes, he is leading the team in that for the month of December. His regular FG% is at 47% for December though. Yeah, he has gone down there. Fields overall though seems to be getting better and better as the season wears on. His higher 3pt % is helping Amare out more than earlier in the year as teams now know they can't slack off him, though he often drives when open - great IQ cat.

Chandler at 44% 3pt. (27/61), 51% FG
Felton at 37% 3pt. (19/52), 43% FG
Gallo at 36% 3pt. (18/50), 43% FG

My point here is that both Chandler and Fields are tearing it up. Gallo and Fields are similar in that they often seem to defer and play great team ball. Gallo steps up and has the more than occasional good game. I really expect Gallo to go up from here, I just don't see him shooting this low for the rest of the season. Williams BTW is at 65% 3pt and starting to get hot the last few games.

The better the bench plays the better the starting unit will probably play due to being better rested, perhaps we saw that sign last night. We are playing really good ball and even though we have some tough games ahead we don't have the bad back to back schedule anymore.

good news. i like how fields looked for his shot in the thunder game. gallo is playing as though he is shedding his skin for a new level, showed killer court vision in the thunder game. chandler is mr consistent, i know briggs thinks ny can sign him for $6mil a year, but $7-8 mil per year contract is where he is headed, good for him.

felton played good in thunder game, but i feel he developing a habit of going for his shot early before making one pass. i much rather him be the floor general first, and get his shots off pass backs from say amar'e who is doubled and kicks the ball to felton running to the basket.

chandler has been a revelation. he's been outstanding and doesn't nearly get the cred because of felton and amare's play.

amare is playing about the same as he was in phoenix, he's just getting the ball a little more. felton's playing at the pace that he's most comfortable with. out of everyone chandler's really stepped up his game from last year and it all started with the position change to the 4. defense is another story but he's doing what he can there.

so great to see fields 3pt numbers going in the right direction. he's going to need to keep a good percentage in order to progress as a player.

speaking of interesting stats, look at this one:

The game featured the top three career scorers from the 2007 draft. Durant came in averaging 25.5 points since being the No. 2 pick, Jeff Green (No. 5) was at 14.3, and Chandler (No. 23) at 13.9.
