Last night, 7 out of 12 players contributed 10+ minutes in the lost to the Heat. 5 of our guys played 35+ minutes, and seemed overwhelmed by the wave of bodies thrown against them. Tired legs make for missed shots. Also, when one player is on a scoring tear, it is customary to either double team him or try a different defender. We had no answer at the center position. Turiaf played an astonishing 4 mins. Mosgov, not much more.

LET THESE GUYS PLAY! If they don't work out, GET SOME NEW ONES!

you absolutely right, not only is that killing the starters energy, your not even show casing these guys for potential trades..it's no wonder the offers for AR, Bill, and Curry are looking lopisided, the bench players have no role and all look confused when they get spot min.

No one's banging the door down for AR, cause he has been in the dog house for two straight coaches, as much as I hate Curry, WTF is a guy making 11 mill doing on the bench in a contrat year, even if you put him there to to wack a guy 6 times...something to earn even a penny of what he's getting..

I cant imagine anybody on this board excepting there co worker who's the 2nd highest paid worker, to come to wrk, drink coffee, jump on the computer and blog all day cause he's not fast enough or capable enough..yeah the situations are a little different, but you get my point.

I know MDA wants to win, and im all for a curbed rotation, but when the match ups don't favor your regular line up, you have to dig in, you have to adjust. MDA has a hard time doing this, and when he does, it's brief and short lived..There's no way you beating LBJ and wade with seven guy's even if amare is playing like WILT..

It's either give Randolph, Mozgov, Walker a real shot at playing through or risk a tired team and a real chance at winning as the season progresses. Every one of our starters make multiple (turnover, foolish shot selection, etc.) mistakes in every game....no one plays perfect games.

D'Antoni may have already overplayed Turiaf. I really worry about Amare breaking down. I know he is the hardest working on his conditioning, stretching etc. to prevent injury but his previous knee injury reoccurring would be devestating and he might not come back from it this time. I don't think any coach could ever limit his passion, and intensity when he plays but limiting his minutes could certainly help. Felton is another guy the Knicks can't afford to lose and he has played 84 minutes the last two games.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18
