No matter what he's spewing in the press now.
I mean the Heat's record indicates that they are only marginally better than the Knicks on the court. Yes the Heat are riding a good streak themselves, but they should be riding a near perfect record for all the talent and assumptive hype surrounding them. So imagine all other things being equal and that James paired with Amare...NY would have the near perfect record, especially if James played second to Amare.
I'm glad the Knicks are who they are right now. Once the little princess decided to hold court in Ohio with the "come to me and gravel" BS I was out. I wanted Melo from the get go (yes, I know he wasn't officially available), but I have to admit I wasn't sold on Amare. Now I'm there and still want Melo, but I don't want the team to lose what's working for them. It's a tough situation, but a much better place than where I thought they'd be. And a far better place than LeBron was able to imagine.
As has been touched on, he was afraid to come to NY and fail. As long as he's in Miami he can revel in there collective success OR evenly distribute any lack of championships between himself, Wade and Bosh...if not completely defer the blame upon them.
