Curry Mosgov Douglas and two number 1's(or 1 # 1 with randolph)) +3mm in cash

OJ Mayo
Darrell Arthur
Hasheem Thabeet
I think OJ Mayo would be a star here and Arthur a really good player. Also I still think Hasheem can be serviceable when needed. He was good at many points last year when coupled with gasol. To take that salary--that would be the deal

That would give us a legit 5th star type player without having to remove anyone and Arthur is very under rated.

Our top 7 would be able to play with anyone anywhere and we still have back end depth. Im willing to give up free agency for BOTH Mayo and Arthur WITHOUT having to remove anyone--meaning signed Chandler.

Im taking 10mm in cash off their books next year--giving them two number 1's Mosgov and Douglas.

I dont think we would do better in FA than OJ Mayo and Arthur if you take into account we keep all players.

No way we get that much talent back for two players that cant get off the bench (actually Curry cant even get on the bench) for us and a 7th man in Douglas. Any discussion for Mayo starts with Chandler I believe.

The next number one the Knicks have that can be traded is 2014. Even if they traded Randolph for a pick and included their 2014 pick I don't think there is anyway they get that kind of talent back from Memphis. You are right about Arthur. He is a very good player just stuck on a team loaded with big men. That draft class had so many good big men it is a shame that Walsh couldn't have gotten another first round pick.
I'm tired,I'm tired, I'm so tired right now......Kristaps Porzingis 1/3/18

They would save 10mm in cash next year to ensure they can sign Gasol and get a back up C with potential at 1/2 the cost of Thabeet. Add in number 1 picks in 2011 and 2014 3mm in cash--thats pretty much what they took got Pau Gasol I looked back 2 #1's a promising young C prospect a young PG prospect and cap relief.

That would give us the star we need off the bench--a young athletic big who i think has a lot of good days in front of him--plus a serviceable athletic 7-3 guy. Our core is very young and can stay together for a long time--no one is overpaid and we lose no one.
