He's shooting almost 42% from 3 but he also averaging 20 points 8 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals 1.5 blocks and had a triple double the other night. He looks like the MVP of the league so far.

well if ny makes a major move for melo we will be in need of a forward off the bench. its only right to have a ewing playing at the garden again. glad to see he has not given up on his goal, and he's working to achieve it.

It looks like he is blocking a ton of shots. He would be a nice rotation player at the 3 and 4. I hope the Knicks bring him back.

Whatever. Two or three years too late Pat Junior. Gotta let that guy go. He'll never be anything in the league. He proved that he can't hang. I think a lot of Knicks fans want to see him because he is Patrick Ewing's son, but that's a crazy reason.

I'm just saying that it's been, what, 2, could even be 3 training camps, and he's never signed? There has to be a reason. Fields, 39th overall, big-time minutes.

Pat Jr. has had his chance. He's not good enough for the L, for whatever reason. We were the only ones even working him out, and that was because of his old man.

He made the team D'Antoni's first year but Roberson's contract was guaranteed so he was cut. He was injured all of last year and I don't think he even played. He may actually have only attended two training camps and he more than made the team the first time. His character, athleticism, and shot blocking would fit nicely with the KNicks front line and in the locker room.

We should give Ewings son another chance. Ewing gave us a chance. He could have left the Knicks and played for another team while he was in his prime. He made MSG lots of money. Yes that's right for his old man! who carried this franchise on his back for many years without another superstar.

Now you're pushing it, Papabear. At the end of the day these guys are there for the cash money. Ewing didn't give us a chance. He was given everything by a bunch of people with cash money to spend on hoops, from the fans up. So let's not go there. Ewing didn't put any money in my commissary when I was in jail.

Ewing got paid but if you take away his character, work ethic, mental toughness and desire to leave it all on the court for the NY KNICKS you have Eddy Curry and the 90's suck. Ewing was a warrior and I would never question his heart or motivation. He achieved in the toughest city on the planet.

That's all true, he is a warrior. But what's that got to do with Pat Junior being a bum? And look, yea, he gave us happy times, but he got a lot from it too. The cash money. At the end of the day, what's it all about? Cash money is the only reality, believe it, man.

would love to bring him back, but he won't see the light of day off our bench unless we make a trade to open up a role for him

I wonder if he'd out perform Williams this time around.

Either that, or he's outgrown the D-League and isn't good enough for the NBA, b/c while Williams has a nice stroke, he hasn't shown to be anything real special as of yet.

I think if he was given the chance to run, rebound, block shots and play the role Randolph is supposed to he would do very well.

When you was in jail? I would keep that to yourself. That's your problem! You did the crime so you had to do the time. I don't want to hear about you being in jail.

I can agree with this. However, he's still a small foward so who is he playing ahead of?

i think Williams has earned a permanent spot in the rotation because of his shooting ability... Ewing Jr. could probably fill that Jared Fishlips role that MDA is trying to get out of AR, but again, unless we're trading Wilson & Gallo, i don't see him getting many minutes at all... he'd still be worth a pickup though, u never know about injuries & it's always nice to have depth.

That doesn't stop MDA from playing guys out of position- I could see him being in a small line up and playing some 4 - he seems like he could play there some in this system.
