LeBron James?

Let him enjoy the heat with the Heat. Let him enjoy the beaches. Let him try to win his NBA championship in a city that’s already won one without him. Treat him tonight as the tourist he always has been, and always will be. Then point to the Knicks, clear your throats, and summon the greatest Norman Dale quote of all:

“My team’s on the floor.”

- Vaccaro

same here, ill be at a christmas party tonight and catch any of the game.

open bar vs knicks/heat is actually a surprisingly tough choice.

The best thing the Garden fans can do tonight is to not even acknowledge Lebron when his name is announced. Just total silence like there will be once his career is over and the spotlight has faded away.

that would be priceless - he get's announced and the only noise you hear in the Garden - a cricket chirping on the big screen.

The two options are:
(1) everyone just turns there back to LeCon and stands there in total silence, or
(2) chants "Delonte West"

I vote for silence, only problem is getting it coordinated so the crowd are all in on it. Probably impossible.

for the pre-sale i had to shell out $144 for one single ticket (i got another for my friend) in the 300s, but behind the basket...seriously that was the best i could get and i was buying the moment they went on sale...

that's easily the most i've ever paid for a sports event. in fact, all together the most i've prob spent on tix in general for anything.

msg seems to have tiered ticket prices this year. not sure they had previously as i usually would buy $10 tix and always easily sit downstairs in the 300-200s.

i got ok city tix too, those were about $110 each and the first wiz game very early on for $75 each, or so. all in the 300s, but the other games i got a bit better seats (closer to the corner/middle).

wonder how much i could sell the tix i have tonight for.

It ain't over yet. I've been to this party before and they let the kids takeover the den watching Harry Potter movies and assorted crap. I might lock the kids in the basement and take over the TV room.

The odds are against us, but a win in this game would be the biggest of the season- heck, maybe of the past ten years! I just hope we don't get blown out like Cleveland did- that would just be humiliating. I want this win so badly!

Get blown out like Cleveland? Comon man, you're better than that.
