Melo seems all but gone.

Nene has the same expiring deal as Melo; if Melo gone I suspect Nene gone.

No way Nuggets resign KMart.

No way Nugget resign JRSmith.

Billups looked shot in the NY game but perhaps he had bad wrist (ligaments). He has 1 more expensive year.

Denver could end up losing their entire front court this summer, left to be anchored by Al Harrington and the oft hurt and tattooed Chris Anderson.

2 years ago I thought they could beat the LA Lakers if they put it together correctly. Next year they will be dramatically different.

Knicks should target Nene not Melo.

The fans fold. Tired of the game, they have the hardest time keeping a poker face. Nuggets attendance has dropped from an average of 17,995 a year ago to 16,301 through a quarter of this season's home dates. For the sole appearance in Denver of the game's best center, Dwight Howard, they report 16,247, which, looking around the arena, seems generous. Since Melo arrived eight seasons ago, the Nuggets have never averaged fewer than 17,000 fans a game for a season.

Denver's attendance has also taken a hit cause fans see the writing on the wall.

So the theory of them riding Melo for the entire season just to continue selling tickets doesn't hold true. With this much chatter, he's going to be moved before the deadline, and hopefully to NY.

Still had a higher attendance than New Orleans.

Nene is basically the exact player that the Knicks need.

Here's to signing both!

Like the idea of having Nene instead of Melo. It addresses the skilled, tough big need at half the price of Melo. Allows us to keep our core rotation and leaves room for the backup PG.

Just sell the idea of a big 4/5/6 in NY to both of them, maybe they'll take paycuts?

sell them on the idea of if you win a ring in ny, a ring that has not been got since 1973. then you wont have to worry about life after nba, even if you blow every dime up till retirement, you will be set for life. that ring will be your money tree.

Nene would be a perfect starting center for this team, but not instead of Melo. We need to get Melo now, and maybe by summer 2012 or earlier Nene becomes available. But i agree he would be great in addition to Melo.
