The Nets, Houston, Lakers three-way deal has been agreed in principle now, one team source tells Y!

For the Nets, getting two more future first-round picks strengthens war chest to try and make deal for Carmelo Anthony.

Also included in deal, sources say: Nets' Joe Smith goes to LA and Lakers send 2011 1st rounder to NJ. Also, HOU sends NJ a '12 1st pick..

Sources say 3-way deal isn't finalized and likely won't be before Wednesday. Still financial considerations that could be adjusted.

Nets, Lakers, Rockets are in advanced talks on 3-way deal sending T. WIlliams to HOU, S. Vujacic and a future HOU 1st to NJ, sources tell Y!

Nets are sending Terrence Williams to Houston according to that link. They gave up on him pretty fast. Earlier in the season he was supposed to be the x-factor in how they did. I wonder if Williams value is higher than Randolphs around the league.

You do realize Houston could have traded them our 2012 pick right? The IRONY.

I guess Houston no longer is a destination for Randolph.

Does LA really need ANOTHER big?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Like I said--sometimes you have to know when to fold em. T Will jacked his trade value with two triple doubles in the D league. I don't think T will is bad prospect at all--he can play--but NJ has just realized he is not a fit form them--so they got value for him.

The best thing A Randolph could do is play 3-4 games in the D league getting 35+ minutes. I would think that with Randolps approval--he could be sent down there for a few.

If there's a lockout, then you'd think it would only be college seniors in the draft. Joke's on the Nets.

- Houston was a rumored destination for Randolph to get our 2012 pick back

- Denver is rumored to want picks in a Carmelo trade

- Tomorrow is December 15th when restrictions on players signed in the summer expire

- King doesn't seem to type to give away a 2nd year lottery pick for any old pick

You think the Net's coincidently trade Terrence Williams the day before the 15th for future first rounders?

Cool story but all of this means close to nothing until proven otherwise.

maybe NJ is making these moves to go after someone else? if the rumors are true that Melo wouldn't sign an extension w/NJ, then there must be someone else they're targetting now as a plan B.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I wonder if they are going to make a run at Mayo. They have to be pretty disappointed in how Outlaw and Morrow have played up to this point.

If they get Melo signed to a deal because of these picks it might be a blessing in disguise. We can find more of a two-way player to fit with this group. Big Baby would be a nice pickup if you could get the right price.

The Lakers pick is for 2011 which is going to be in the late 20's.

The 2012 pick is reportedly Houston's own pick.
