I just took a good hard look at the schedule for some of the other teams streaking upward..SA. Miami, dallas, boston..there schedules were just as soft as ours with less road games.. bostons 10 game win streak, they beat just 2 teams with winning records (alanta didnt have joe johnson and protland didn't have roy)..right before we played the hornets, they had only played 2 teams with winning records and lost 1...they scored like 23 points in a half yesterday, making just one Fg the entire quarter

Most of them have have played no more then 4 or 5 teams with winning records, yet people keep saying we haven't really been tested...

the nba rearly puts a string of games together were a team would play 4 or 5 500 or better teams in a row..like the hell week we had last year against cleve, boston and the lakers.

IMO we accomplish more by winning 10 games on the road, which is very difficult to do reguardless of who you play...

why are they refusing to aknowledge us as being a very very good team.

Who cares? But what's troubling is how so-called "Knicks fans" talk a bunch of garbage about MDA, the Knicks schedule, and Gallinari.

There are haters in fan clothing. The rest of the analysts, the media, all that jazz, hey man, they don't know. But the ones in the know, don't know nothin'. So whatever.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

Its just because we were so bad for so long. We have to show that we are good while Boston etc., they are assumed to be good already.

Either way, its better to be doubted all the time, will make the team play witha a chip on their shoulder.

A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Every night it seems like half the teams lose... Crazy

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Lets make this simple.

Assume you have 100 teams....50 will win, and 50 will loose!

Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Why does no one do some half azzed research before posting 'facts'

More than half the teams have losing records. 17 of 30 at the present moment.

A couple are borderline and might flip back to over 500- or the hornets, who we were so proud to beat, might continue losing and join the below crowd.

Its pretty incredible how bad the East is- 7 teams below 400, West only 4.

Well, except for Miami and us none of those teams have to prove their worth right now. They have cores that have proved their worth at least in terms of earning elite status. Well atlanta and NO not so much, but I don't consider hem to be elite either.

You can go to Hollinger's power rankings if you want to see any team's strength of schedule for either the entire season or the last 10 games:
http://espn.go.com/nba/hollinger/powerrankings
For the season, the knicks and Lakers are tied with the *easiest* schedule out of the 30 NBA teams.
The Hollinger power rankings are statistically adjusted based on the team's strength of schedule, margin of victories/losses, and proportion of home/away games. They have us at 14th in the league and 6th in the east.
