Wallace and Jackson pretty much tore DJ apart

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Wallace and Jackson should look in the mirror- yes they miss Felton, and clearly we've seen the intangible will to win that he brings.

But DJ's numbers- and yes, they're numbers- aren't bad or off where Felton was last year.

Like Brown said- those guys have to step up. Easier to complain than fix.

I love the comments... they should like Knicks fans in recent years!!!!

It so clear how Larry's style hurt Felton's game. He still plays great defense and plays tough. Only difference now is his offensive blinders have been removed and he's being allowed to play to his skill set, instead of LB's system.

Yeah really. From what I remember, DJ played awesome against us, while Wallace played good but nothing special and Jackson played like sheeeot. Sounds like the type of players Isiah would have loved.

Yeah, it is nice not to hear about the knicks getting played again. I can't believe Theo Ratliff is still in the league.

After watching the B'cats a few years even in person:

Stephan Jax as team captain is not a great Idea. This guy has talent but leadership is not just verbal and outwardly tough. Its "mentally tough" that counts.

They miss Tyson but as a long term investment he has not shown ability to not get injured and the money went into TYTHomas.

Ty Thomas: Stats are one thing, but watch this kid. Low IQ. Very low. He has his moments. Sat and talked with some diehart cat fans at a recent game while he was messing up and I asked "is he this bad"? They said " awful".

Gerald Wallace: dude is cooked or injured. Just not making the effort off the ball. This is a streaky player who can take over a game but rarely does it a whole game. Very Vince Carter like. Many players are like this, they can't go 38 minutes hard. But he really is mailing it in this season.

DJ, the kid is not loud, is not going to get in Steph Jax face. Jax is the Alpha on the team and won't let him have a piece. He is not Ray, but Ray had his short comings in the Brown system and was not deemed worth a long term contract by management. Larry brown wanted Ray. Management made its choice for him.

Now that Ray has a true superstar in Amare and a system that enhances his skill set they going to miss him even more.

Gerald Wallace, stephan Jax and TY thomas make a big salary and this is your core? Sorry Larry, Mike not too bright.

I forgot Diaw. Good player, not real starter material. I'd like him on our bench actually. Next year perhaps.

Give Larry Brown some credit-taught him discipline although the Brown style prevented Ray from shining

Yeah that LB discipline things gets a bit overblown tho. It isn't necessary for a player to blossom. It's a good thing in moderation, but really unless the player is like Billups, that style really fit him, it tends to destroy a PG's natural talents. Jason Kidd and Billups fit that kind of style, cuz they are able to pick a D apart from the top of the key and not really have to probe the D and be very active in that way. They can shine in a very tactical offense. Other PG's have to use more of their instincts and natural talents to get the job done. Felton is a pitbull that needs to be aggressive and play fast. When he's sitting back he's less effective. Let him loose to attack and he's a entirely different player.

This system was made for a guy like Felton and Mike is the right kind of coach to get the Max out of his talent, just like he did with Nash.
