December, 10 at Wizards - John Wall vs Scrappy will be entertaining, JaVale McGee was benched Wednesday night due to recent ineffectiveness. McGee is already in the doghouse of coach Flip Saunders, and he's only 22 years old.

December, 12 vs Nuggets - while the Carmelo freak show is pumped by every NY beat writer and radio talker non-stop, Mozgov gets some cameo minutes against Nene, a perfect time to test his courage

December, 15 vs Celtics - Mozgov picks up three blocked shots as his confidence soars. Knicks win.

December, 17 vs Heat - Mozgov drops Dwayne Wade on a layup and a brawl ensues. Pandemonium with Mozgov suffering a cut over his right eye. One game suspension.

December, 18 at Cavaliers - Knicks win with Ronny Turiaf scoring 12 points, but his knee is still barking. Moz sits out under appeal.

December, 22 vs Oklahoma - did somebody say Russell Westbrook?

December, 25 vs Bulls - Mozgov returns with a vengeance and drops 12 points and 10 rebounds, just in time to make The Answer Man look almost as much a genius as Donnie Walsh.

I could see it happening, but it'll probably be a little more subtle statwise imo.

Even if Mozgov cracks D'Antoni's ridiculous 8 man rotation, he wont see more than 5 minutes a game.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Dedember was the month that D'Antoni banished the first round picks last year. Hill had 21 dnps from 12/4-2/17 amd Douglas had 19 dnps from 12/11-2/17-the trading deadline. I have been surprised and pleased that Mosgov and Fields are getting minutes this year and I am sure Fields will continue to get minutes but Timofey might be banished for awhile.

Possibly, but I think it really depends on how the games go. IF there's any foul trouble or the bigs on the opposing team seem to be going off, then Timo may get called upon. Right now I think Mike is going to go heavy with the guys that know what they're doing and take fewer chances with Timo/AR for the next 25 games. It actually makes sense tho. I'm sure he'd prefer to have a reliable option off the bench but short of that, going with a shorter rotation makes sense. Timo will get some brief cameos at some point.

Playing Amare and Felton 40 minutes a game doesn't make sense.

it did to secure 11 out of 12 winnable games.

we have a whole different stretch of season coming up, where it would be quite a feat to go .500. i think mda gives them their rest in games where we don't have chances for comebacks.

Agreed, the core group will play until the result is not in doubt or unlikely (after heavy minutes in previous games for Amare/Ray). Would not mind the "Earl's scenario but would like to see more tangible results from his "mentor" Herb Williams.
