the right formula for this bench. He's now lost the flavor for AR Walker Mason and Mosgov--I cant sit on all of these players for the possibility that they could fit better or play better. Whatever goal the Knick had to start the season--and I know it was like make the 7th seed or 8th seed-has to be changed. We cant improve on the PG or PF positions and I dont see us having better more cost-efficient effective players going around those two than Gallo Chandler and Fields. Those three are able to get theirs while understanding that Amare and Felton are the two big boys on the block.

Like the Mimai Heat has had effect with Dampier even with small stats--we need a hoop lane deterrent player--I think we should still use Mosgov for 7-10 minutes and if Turriaf just cant do it--I dont see why we cant use AR--telling him interior only post only type instructions where he can take a shot and it will be high %--and hes in position to rebound and make opportunistic plays. There is too much scoring going on by the opposing bigs. Wouldve loved to have J Thompson but not happening anymore. As long as we have the players here--I think just like they reworked the offense--they can rework their assignments--run hard play hard be smart and make the easy play. you need to have fun playing so the basic play--making the play to help the team---that has to be the play for those guys--not three's or dribble drives--just the easy play so youre just ut there playing and not thinking. If this does not work out I have to suggest that we use everything in our power to make this bench better--whatever that may be -the five core starters.

We have surpassed short term or even season long goals--imho--and there is no doubt in my mind--if we had this line up--if we did not start the MNoz we would be 18-5 or 4 games better and among the best records in the league. We have an MVP player and an all star guard. We have 2 near 20 point wings with diverse talents and a great glue guy who rebounds like a young Shawn Marion. We need a productive bench for the team for the fans were too good not to have it.

We have some limitations with this coach when it comes to subs. There is no way around it. He isnt, and never has been comfortable playing 9 players or mixing or matching. He like 7 guys with an 8th guy getting spot minutes and to be fair his track record is solid with that.

I have been VERY opposed to trading AR/Mos or other young guys for a stop gap role player type, but maybe we should change that thinking and really target a front of the rotation bigman.

If you keep the current starting 5 intact (Amare/Felton/Gallo/Fields/Felton) and can add a legit 28-30 mpg center that would push Chandler off the bench and easing the minutes on everyone else.

It seems MDA only really trusts those 5 guys and plays a big guy and Douglas because he has too.

So who is the big and whats the package? (cause we havent discussed this yet )
