it was mentioned in most of the articles. He's not getting the explosiveness back, and he's nowhere near returning and they might shut him down for an extended period of time just to rehab.

Thank GOD Fields has emerged as a fixture at SG for... well, forever

That sucks. A healthy Kelenna Azubuike is the best player we got back from Golden State.

But like you say, thank goodness for Landry Fields.

cheers

I absolutely HATE when people say "thank God for how Fields has played bc now his trade value for Melo has gone up.".... Obnoxious.

God hath given us the likes of the malcontented, the over paid and the selfish. God then decends the benevelant one who in the sprit of ST Francis comes humble, comes from charity (39th pick) and comes ready to work!

God chose us to suffer thru Isiah Lord and Brown Larry until a young innocent draft picks falls from the first round into our hands. He brings rebounds and a smile. He brings the Smooth.

Thank God For Landry Fields!

People say it on talk radio all the time, from the callers to Kay to Daughtry and I bet Tierney has said it too, and I don't know who, but I guarantee posters here have said it too. And I happen to like all three of the guys I mentioned above, but I think people are TOO high on Melo.

i haven't heard anyone on sports radio or on these forums saying they'd like to trade Fields... i think he's universally regarded as a guy everyone wants to keep... if anything, his play this year has rendered Wilson Chandler all that much more expendable in people's eyes.

Oh don't you worry. They talk about it a lot and they were talking about it on Daughtery last night when I was driving home from work. A LOT of people see Fields as mainly a trade chip.

I lean more towards you side as well although I'm not ANTI getting Melo.

I have NEVER been anti getting MElo. I'm anti trading 2-3 starters/rotation players to get him. If Nugs panick and decide they HAVE to take Curry + Gallo for Melo then sorry rooster... its been fun. Gotta do that. As of now I'm not trading Chandler + Gallo. Hey, if we get smoked over the next 25 games then maybe I change my tune on that one. I have also said from the getgo its premature. Lets talk in Feb

^ Yes, this.

If Azubuike doesn't play before Game 42 (Jan. 21 in San Antonio), 80 percent of his $3.3M salary is paid by the NBA's disability insurance policy.

He's a trade asset, and if he doesn't get traded, maybe the Knicks sign him on a vet min deal next year cause Azu knows his best shot at producing PPG is in an uptempo offense.

Fields? You're not touching Landry. That guy is the closest thing to Jesus Christ since John Starks. You deal the timid, uneventful Chandler before you do Fields or Gallinari; word is bond.

Jail saying: "I ain't beat".

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.
