At a MINIMUM each player helped their team to a conference final but most of the time it was the actual final. I mean those are the odds 20/20 to the C finals at a minimum. We have an MVP type player and a strong supporting cast. The ONLY goal of management at this point should be 2010-2011--with 2 roster spots for developing for the future(- our player in Europe)I am in FULL agreement that you should have 2-3 spots for developing and nurturing the future but like any other sport if a deal comes up that puts you in a better chance to win now--that is the goal of sports TO WIN.

Amare is OUR mvp, but I dont see him as THE MVP.

He's an elite scorer obviously. Lets see after the next 25 games where we stand

Yeah it took him 10 games to get adjusted with our roster changes--never shouldve had Msgov in the SL. This is a 4-1 team--we DO need a second socring big and insurance for Turriaf--it an absolute need--it does give you the chance to play 2 big at times--but our bets team is a 4-1 set.
Amare in a 4-1 set is going to avg 28-10 55% which is MVP caliber

if the knicks don't win at least 50 games (i seriously doubt this) then amar'e gets a shot at mvp.

it ain't going to a player on a team that wins 39-42 games.

i know you think we're a 50 win team, but i do not by any means believe that to be likely.

look at our schedule from now through january and tell me if you think this team will win most games.
