He may be in the mix for a small trade with us. Walker for Telfair.

Small change, nothing world beating by his addition but for running the point as a back up for 13-15 min a nite so Rainman can get his wind.

He expires. Just keep Gonslaves out of the mix. Is Gonslaves with Marbury in China?

Bassy returns and accepts the smaller role?

Do the Marbury-Telfair family proud? No fanfare, no circus attaction. Just solid basketball by a talented player who buys into the system.

Telfair was putting some nice effort on defense... i liked what i saw out of him... but that whole Marbury relation scares me off... i don't wanna see Marbs at the games showing his smug face at courtside... i know he's got a right to attend games like everyone else, but i'd just prefer for that whole negative cloud that surrounds him to be gone from this franchise forever.

I think when the defense gets tough he struggles to handle it. Not sure how he'd perform in a playoff run
I just hope that people will like me

He's a solid option, but i would rather have TJ Ford who could be available at the deadline for Curry and another piece or as a FA this summer. He would be a fantastic backup for Felton in this system.

curry got that trade kicker clause... why would Indy do that, in general, even without the trade kicker?

Telfair and Marburry don't get along so you wouldn't have to worry about that.

No thanks. To tell you guys the truth players from NY basically scare me off. forget it if they are from Brooklyn. Those days of Mullin and King are long gone all you get are problem childs from there.

We would have to include something else. Also, i think Curry has most of his contract already paid for. Not sure if that is different with Ford but if it is then it could be intriguing to Indy. But more than likely he is a better option in the summer for 2-3mil a year.

we would trade curry + for TJ ford? And curry's contact $ paid already doesn't go to new team.

I think Curry's salary or any other is pro-rated and even if its prepaid they have to refund it to us. we can send them up to 3mil so its a wash. If he can get playing time he might be agreeable to waive the trade kicker which would only be on the balance of his contract. So if he is owed 3 mil left its based on that.

But to bring in a player that late in the season and expect them to jump right in is not always doable.

IM not worrying about a deep playoff run now. This ia a nice stretch but injuries do happen and teams will adjust to our playing style.

No playoff push without overcoming some sort of adversity.

Things are good. IM thinking Telfair for Walker basically.

Nobody is taking curry to exile him. We can do that ourselves.

No Jeremy LInns or other Dleaguers. Just vets who play at the NBA level.

Anyone related to Stephon Marbury must be kept at a distance from this franchise.

he's still a hot mess. Shoots a little better but still not a good shooter, not a good defender, is related to Steph.....NO

TJ MIGHT be worth a look. I think that lil blur would thrive in the system if healthy but......there have been some rumbling about him being a malcontent and last thing we need is another steph but, I could be wrong about that.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

would still target Patty Mills via trade or Antonio Daniels if we grab a guy from the NBDL

Antonio Daniels is more of an undersized SG in the form of Toney Douglas than a ball facilitator tho... we need someone to be the floor general out there... Telfair can do that better than Daniels, but u worry about his mindset if he comes here... will he be a hard worker, keep his mouth shut & be a guy that MDA can coach, or will he emulate his cuz? i haven't read anything about him to suggest he would be those things but i just get paranoid when it comes to the whole Marbury subject.

There's just no way you could ever bring him back to NYC with what Marbury did here. Its the same crew. How could you bring that back into the franchise?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
