Now that winning has finally come back to NY, and it took 2 years just to UNDO what Isiah Thomas did to this team, can we finally feel confident that Little Jimmy has enough proof (even for the village idiot) that Isiah was the problem, not part of the solution, and that he'd never get fooled by that trickster into letting him back into the fold? I pray that its so!

the signs are good, especially w/ the Allan Houston promotion. Houston is the anti Isiah, he's a total choir boy which might have its own disadvantages, but we will see.

The connection to IT is more personal then it is business, he's alway going to be associated with dolan at this point, that was pretty clear when they went public with that consultant gig.

Dolan will always bat for IT, no matter what

I remember before the Anucha trail Isiah went to Indiana to meet with the president or the University At the time they were looking at replacing Kelvin Sampson and the noise was "Isiah was just there talking". They shot his ass down!

I suppose we could root for FIU to do really well and perhaps a bigger job opens up for him and he takes it.

A busy Isiah is good for the Knicks.

Or he has to go down in flames so bad at FIU that nobody touches him. INcludeing Little Jimmy.

What more does he really have to do to "go down in flames?"
Being the executive that drove the team into the ground, while paying $100M a year for the privilege, plus a sexual harassment suit worth another $11M, and poisoning the team isn't enough?
What does he have to do? Kill somebody?

Are you going to volunteer to sacrifice yourself?

For the good of the team? I guess I would set the standard for the die-hard fan in this modern age!

Would give a whole different meaning to your personal "I'm out" thread, should you ever have one.

I think Jimmy will rightly see that now is the perfect time to bring Isiah back. Isiah has been vindicated. All his plans for making the team better have come to fruition, albeit under Donni Walsh's (figurehead) leadership. It's time to bring back Isiah, and award him the accolades he deserves.

You're right- if Isiah hadn't gotten all the pieces that Walsh flipped and traded, he wouldn't have been able to land the all the players he did in the off season.

In Walsh, D'Antoni, Felton and Amare....I trust, everyone else pays cash

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Can't wait to see what genius moves IT will be able to channel:
* the never ending dividends of signing sCurry's luxury tax deduction contract
* what AR will learn from the Balkman tapes
* arranging for Chandler to be able to ingest DBleed blood, turning him into a monster
* how Walsh will just "conveniently" be signing a blockbuster #1 pick out of FIU
* sending Tmov to Jackie Butler's big man's camp at a considerable discount

So, is Allan being groomed by Walsh and is it a willing endeavor or has Dolan insisted upon it. I guess it doesn't really matter, but Walsh would be a good person to learn from and by all accounts Houston is a good man...as someone pointed out, the anti-Thomas.
