Maybe?Like I've said before, they never should have moved to New Orleans in the first place.
I remember when the Jazz left New Orleans for Utah. Took some time to get used to the new name. I'd like for Seattle to get another shot. I get the feeling that they would do a better job of filling seats this time, even in this economy.
they didn't leave becasue of attendance. They left because ownership kidnapped them
They had one of the worst attendance figures in the league, which is why I hope they can do better this time, so they can keep the
franchise in Seattle. I understand that greed was the driving factor for the move. Filling seats will make it harder for the next owner to try it.
Attendance was low, but the fans aren't the problem. The problem was prolongued mediocrity. Outside of NY, when your team doesn't win for long periods of time fans stop going. Seattle fans have been plagued over and over again with bad management decisions with all their sports teams. Attendance for all of those teams(even the "12th man" Seahawks suffer) goes down. But show those fans hope(whcih Durant would have) and people will go. It's not like NJ or Miami where winning doesn't matter
