Allen Iverson may be close to leaving Besiktas of the Turkish League, according to a report by Sportando.

Iverson has been criticized since his arrival in Turkey for his bad performances.

He is averaging 12.3 points per game in three Eurocup games.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

AI beez wack.

Most overrated player of all-time, in all of the land. He got a lot of love because he was small and he scored a lot, but really, let's look at his career honestly. He shot 28% from the field and had a horrible, team destroying attitude. Larry Brown worked overtime to discipline him for parts of one season and they caught a hot streak to get into the Finals. Where they got stomped because they were garbage.

Hall of Fame? No way.

WE AIN'T NOWHERE WITH THIS BUM CHOKER IN CARMELO. GIVE ME STARKS'S 2-21 ANY DAY OVER THIS LACKLUSTER CLUSTEREFF.

28% from the field? That was a joke, right?

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I stretched it a bit to drive the point home. Really it was around 42%. But it sure felt like 28.

And he damaged a generation of young ballers by making practice seem stupid.

Personally, I did not like his playing style from the perspective of a team that could go all the way. Very difficult when you have an undersized shooting guard who dominates the ball; I recall the Sixers getting killed on defense whenever they played any team with a good SG. But, he was entertaining to watch. His attitude... no, not a fan. Maybe him and Marbury will team up somewhere.

Never thought Jerome Williams would have a longer career in the NBA than Allen Iverson.

I liked Allen and loved watching him play. The problem with him was that you had to build the perfect team of role players to help him win and that was a tough thing to do. In my mind he is a hall of fame player but his role in the offense was better suited for a sixth man. It's tough for a little guy that size to lead his team to a title by taking that many shots and he never seemed willing to take a step back.
I just hope that people will like me

Early in his career, before the emergence of the full-bore attitude, he was a throwback. He'd destroy himself trying to win games singlehandedly. I could never understand how his body absorbed all that punishment. Football player in a jockey's body.

That highlight dunk in traffic his last year at Gtown was incredible.

and well into the NBA also. He was the best little man in the NBA. Anyone who says he wasnt one of the toughest players didnt watch him very much. He and his body ran out of gas. Great player in his prime.

Iverson never tried to learn fundamentals to enhance his game. Relied on his athletic greatness. Age will slow you down and when that happens a player like him loses his biggest tool and he becomes average.

The ego is the last to go. Money seems to go faster. I feel sorry for the dude in a way. What could have been lifetime of financial security and a way to create multi generational wealth and education for his kids he struggles instead.

AI needs to keep playing to pay his child support payments & gambling debts... he was 1 of the greatest players to ever play the game at one point... right now it's sad to see him having to go to Turkey to pay his bills... the NBA should have a pension fund like the NFL does for its' ex-players (or do they already have one?)

ic... AI's drinking & gambling problems have really derailed his career... i think he could have still been playing in the NBA at a solid level right now if he had taken better care of himself & managed his life better.
