Papabear Says

I don't think that he would pick Miami. He is the most disliked B Ball player not because he went to Miami but the way he did it. He Misled his boy Jay Z. He had Jay Z to come out to Ohio to be made a fool out of and suckered the Knicks and other teams. LeCon make a career mistake. He is now showing sign of uneasiness.

He would still pick Miami.

Pretty much he can do WHATEVER he feels like in Miami and not get killed in the media there.

In NY and Chicago he wouldn't be given a pass for some of his antics.

If he did it over again i really think he would pick New York. This whole thing just put his legacy in the ground. The way he went about the process, the "cop-out" so to speak with trying to win the easy way by playing with as many star players as money can afford, and the fact that they aren't winning tops it all. Obviously they have time to figure this thing out, but i think this has been enough of a nightmare so far that he is thinking he wishes he was somewhere else. New York always seemed the most logical, especially with the addition of Amare.

But it doesn't matter, because I for one have warmed much more to the idea of the combination of Melo and Felton to go with Amare, as opposed to just lebron and spare parts. He screwed up, and for once we are going to benefit unlike our usual poor luck as a result.

"Ive decided to take my talents to Broadway..."

Let's be honest, unless you have spoken to Lebron James, you are being dishonest in assuming how he feels about Miami.

Honestly, if the Knicks were 9-8 with Lebron and Amar'e, New York reporters would be writing his obituary and Mike D'Antoni would have been fired in the press by the end of pre season.

Think of it this way, in the event he IS regretting going to Miami, imagine the regret he would feel after being booed off the court during a six game losing streak in The World's Most Famous Arena and seven times the national and local media inquisition.

knicks lucked out by losing the lebron lottery. knicks got a legit franchise player. tbh miami does not have a legit franchise player, a leader.

instead of lebron leading the way as first option and wade second. lebron is waiting on old man riley to lead the way. to riley's credit i bet he would do it, but i bet he is wondering, why do i have to? arent you king james who aspires to be the first billionaire of basketball-- find your bollocks man! next time you see wade iso instead of passing you the rock, call a time out and slap that flopping sod upside the head.

You're right, we don't know for sure. That is why this is speculation. As fans we are allowed to speculate all we want. I feel that given his current state he feels differently about his situation than he did a couple months ago. That could change tomorrow, of course, and he could be glad about his decision. But i think given the turmoil, the thought of "had I made a different decision, what would it be like" has crossed his mind recently.

ahh.. the power of hindsight.

If Lebron could do it over and finally grew up, he would avoid the idea of "The Decision" like the plague.
And as a result wouldn't have coined the phrase "Take my talents to _____".
And as a result wouldn't have instantly garned a gajillion nicknames like LeCon, LeFraud, LeBosh, Queen James, etc.

If Lebron could do it over and cowered at the idea of further criticism, he would stick with Cleveland.
He would live by his words, "I have one goal and that's to bring a championship to Cleveland and I won't stop until I do".
He can continue to have his little antics and pre-game celebrations and live like a kid in Neverland for the rest of his career.

If Lebron could do it over and grew a pair of basketballs, he would choose New York.
The mecca of basketball. The World's Most Famous Arena. His city. Potential tri-fecta championship year across all the major American sports leagues. The chance to be invincible.

But chances are, Lebron wouldn't change, he would still wanna play sidekick to D-Wade and join up with the Velociraptor and make another boneheaded career decision all over again.

you have to be patient. I said from the get go they wouldnt win this year. I said 50+ games but not going past the 2nd round. Next year is a different story when they arent so strapped and can add some depth.

Well...Would he do it again if he knew the backlash that he was going to get? Not sure. This guy is all about him. Who knows how he views things.

Don't really care where he goes. The problem I see with him is the same one DWade is now seeing...the retinue
Bill Simmons on Tyreke Evans "The prototypical 0-guard: Someone who handles the ball all the time, looks for his own shot, gets to the rim at will and operates best if his teammates spread the floor to watch him."

he should have come to NY. i think most people realize this now. probably not lebron though. superstars rarely question themselves or think they make mistakes.

right now lebron is thinking: "the team stinks... it's the coach's fault!"

Dwade gave up living and playing in chicago where he could have been with his kids and the kids mother but instead choose to be with his "superfriends". These guys are tools.

since we're doing 20/20 hindsight time, lebron should have stayed in cleveland. he should have said i love this state, i love these people, they've supported me all the way, i'm going to stay fighting for a championship for the people of cleveland, blah blah blah. he would have been golden for the rest of his 30-8-8 career, whether he ever won a stinking thing or not.

It's funny, you compare what he left in Cleveland to what he has in Miami, and he left a pretty decent team in Cleveland.

You could make the argument that if he stayed in Cleveland, that team would be better than his current Miami team. Miami without Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller has some very serious flaws, and their best perimeter shotmaker is currently.... James Jones???

Anyway, once Mike Miller and Udonis come back, who knows, maybe they become a great team. But Miami is certainly locked into that team for a very long time... those 3 players currently take up 75% of their salary cap... and it only gets worse over time as their salaries increase every year.

Rose is not the answer.

wade and rose would have never co exist, bron and wade will never win a ring together..I'm just waiting to see who's going to man up first and come to grips with reality..But i dont expect that to happen anytime soon.

Amare and this offense would have been a better fit any retard can see that..the only thing i feel like he would have change was the "espn show" and the dancing on stage like they just won the championship.

This guy met with several teams privately about joining them, and they all had to here his decision on TV (which means he was never serious about any of them)... belive you methere's a list of reason he's the one of the most hated players in the league.
