I said yesterday that the knicks did not put the ball where it needed to be! Some said they didn't see it! Well Lenny said the same thing in the paper! Almost verbatim! I Know you guys don't like to give credit when its due! I know that! But I told you I didn't see the discipline! And I told you that all those screens were not necessary! Now the coach says the same exact thing! so maybe now I'll have a bit of credibility. Especially after callin the freakin Marbury trade.

Wilkens says some of Chaney's plays didn't allow enough spacing. "As coaches, we have our own ideas how we want to do things," Wilkens said. "It's not that anyone is wrong. It's just who gets the maximum out of the players on the floor. That's what counts."

Marbury says Wilkens did it right by going slowly with the new stuff. "That's the best way to go," Marbury said. "We've gained his confidence and respect and he gradually got in some new sets. It made it a lot easier."

So we knew Chaney could not coach a game or the defense and NOW we learn his Offense was junk too. Well, go figure!

Great post, KO. I am glad we finally have a real coach again.

When Wilkens took over; he stated that he was staying with Don Channey floor plan.and that he will adjust to it.My theory is maybe don chaney kept the same plays jeff van gundy used when he was our head coach.and thats why he was able to beat us twice.we did not look that bad against them,we just did not have as many open shots...

We will be alot better next year after Wilkins and Thomas come up with some nice plays and the team has the time to learn them...
We are still in the shadows of Chaney's and/or JVG's system.
Next year we will be alot more productive offensively...
I just hope they emphasize defense as much as they really should.
I'd hate to become another version of the MAvericks...

How long you gonna give Chaney oops Lenny to tweak vangundy's offensive system? 10 GAMES ARE ALMOST UP 5 more to go
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
