1) You can't underestimate the value of having the best player on the floor, which Amare gives us on many a night. His leadership has been invaluable.

2) The Knicks ball movement is getting really pretty. It's as good as we've had since Lenny Wilkens and in some quarters the best we've had since Pitino. If Felton can find the P&R with Amare/Gallo/Chandler and the oop with Moz the offense will be shaking and baking.

Yeah it's getting there. We have too many lulls and let teams get back in it but when it's clicking it looks really good. The thing that I love most is the D has been much better this year. Not perfect but much better and it seems to be improving little by little. Teams have a hard time scoring against us, save for the letdown that happens at the end of the shot clock from time to time.

The biggest thing is that when the team came out after the break they attacked the basket, so it's no accident that this team is playing better ball. There's more action going toward the hoop and it's having an impact. Thank God for DW and his bringing in shot blockers. We are a tough team to score on in the paint when our defense is set.

Thank god we don't have the doorman in the middle giving up 35 pts a night. I respect him for what he did but damn its good to see some defense.

No doubt... Amare took over this game with his interior defense.

My girl actually jumped out of the shower, cuz she heard me screaming downstairs after that last block! LMAO

I get your point, but It is if you don't play any D besides that. That was the original premise for that comment. There have been teams that languished at the bottom of the league in D, that just happened to have some shotblockers, so it's overrated if you don't do anything else defensively.

Yeah, I'm watching them live online (ADTHE.NET)

The late West Coast games work great, the early East Coast games are tougher.

By hook or crook I've managed to catch the last 6 games, but I wont be able to sustain it for long.

I'd pay for league pass if they let me pay on a game by game basis as the picture is so much better. I'd pay like 3 bucks for a game on occasion. But, you can no longer pay on a game by game basis, at least not in Europe. Reminds me a little bit of the record companies. They got greedy and people found alternatives...
