This is a touchy situation, We were all clapping like seals after relizing what kinda of player AR is/can be, but how quickly has that change (some of us thought Nelly in GS was losing his mind) Im hoping thats not the case with AZ. How do you fit him in??

Ironically BW is such a + on the floor in his sporadic minute's, it's difficult to drop low on his 12 mins, TD (just like last year) appears to be a streaky john starks kinda player, how can you sit a streaky player, you just never know when he's going to get hot.

With so much young talent, and everyone having there moments, and needing quality minutes to get better, I think MDA has his work cut out for him. Playing more then nine guys won't cut it, playing amare, gallo, and chnadler out of position for the sake of somebody else getting PT, f**ks up the chemistry.

I'm not going to put much stock in the three PATSY wins against three lottery bound teams..yeah we played better, but it's tough to act like the Mini, philly, and rockets defeats didn't happen, especially when those teams continue to lose after they beat us.

I think everyone on this team can help us on any given night, but what night is the question, the match ups, the who deserves to play, the who should play, who's better guarding who, but then makes us suffer on the offensive end, or visa versa. I know some of you wanted the 10/11 man rotation, but thats a recipe for disfunctional..

Throw in the curry factor, MDA likes curry, and will probably want to a) give him an opportunity to see what he has, and b)if he does have something, then boost his trade value. MDA has shown (think duhon and Al) that he will give a vet in the last year of his contract, a generous amount of time to prove himself worthy.

This all becomes a major problem if were not winning, cause there goes the locker room (see amre's comments a week ago), and the fire MDA chants, but..... if were winning, then this is a minor issue, cause no one wants to be bitching about PT ( IDK why he didn't play me) on a winning team.

Curry cannot play. Not even a little bit. He gets hurt on consistent basis while trying to practice. If we ever see him play again for us(not gonna happen), it can only happen at the end of the year. Once we establish our identity and start to blow teams out , thats his only hope of seeing playing time. Although, it is possible that we have some good passers that could , theoretically, feed him the ball(yes, its intended), that would still require him to be on the court. Since there is no chance of that, there is no chance of nothing for him, stick a fork into this man. Unless he decides to become a different person.

You mention a lot of non-issues here 1248, Curry will never show up, body and mind are both gone I'm afraid. If AR and AZ prove to be better then the guys in front of them they'll get the playing time. Who to play is an issue on every team I think, not just for

My thought exactly.

You win $100 M in the lottery, and you're worried about a spending "problem," because you are not a big spender. Not really a problem, IMO.

A healthy Azubuike pushing and deserving playing time is a problem I've wanted since we acquired him.

Hopefully he gets well and our next problem in Anthony Randolph playing to his potential and deserving minutes.

Just means more flexibility for MDA, and more competition for playing time, which is never a bad thing.

And I can't believe that Curry will be a factor for the Knicks this year unless he is used in a trade. With the way the team is playing now in terms speed, Curry will not get important minutes.

It's easy to say all of this now cause we won a few games, but trust me, those 6 straight loses was a product of who to play.

I think it was a product of Turiaf being hurt, the focus of the offense was still on forcing PnR and guys taking too many 3's. Now the team has settled down into a more efficient style of offense and Turiaf is back. We NEED AR to get his act together and play more of a Camby role for us. AZ would be great if his stroke is there and he can move well on D. IF not I don't expect he'll take anyone's minutes.

Yep, AR is only useful to us if he can man up and play PF-C, block shots and rebound. Unfortunately so far he's looked like a bad small forward. I'm really hoping he'll get it together, but I'm really not sure if he will- I seek solace in remembering Camby when he first got here (I remember he sat out a game with an ingrown toe nail!), so I'm not giving up on him yet.

I'm not sure AZ will give us much, again I'm hoping he proves me wrong, but with him and AR I'm willing to give them til the end of the season to show something- anything!

I see scrub bait like Walker and Mason getting glued to the bench.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt
