moved to back up 2 guard.


Id take him we need a 2G--perfect scenario when a young player and team is slumping to get him.

Just checked realgm tradechecker. We would need to package AR and Azuibuke for Mayo. I would still do it.

Come to think again. Would you rather have Mayo or Fields in the 2 spot? I am really liking Fields there right now.

Why not? I think that is a fair trade and if Azubuike was healthy would be a great trade for Memphis. Funnier things have happened. Hornets just sent Bayless and Peja to Toronto for Jarrett Jack and others. Now that is a head scratcher.

Not sure how is that a fair trade...Azubuike is coming off a serious injury and Randolph is benched yet again. Mayo is a borderline All-Star guard on his rookie deal.

Doesn't make any sense for Memphis to trade him for that package when they can get much more than that.

Not sure how Hornets upgrading from Bayless to Jack is a head scratcher. Peja is a hasbeen who has been collecting DNP's and the Hornets needing a backup big man since they were relying on DJ MBenga. Now they have a decent back in David Anderson.

The Hornets did very well with that trade.

It wouldn't be a problem if he played for the Knicks. D'Antoni doesn't have game day shoot arounds.

i'd be willing to trade Wilson for OJ... i think Fields is better off as a SF anyways.

NVM. Just saw it's Xavier Henry..So the guy goes 1-11 the other night against Wash and lands on the bench?? Mayo can't be happy about that at all. Did nothing at all tonight against the Heat in a big Memphis win...I agree -- strike while the iron may be hot...I really like Randolph's talent a lot and will continue to wait for him but if OJ Mayo ever becomes available you go get him, even for Randolph..Then maybe you turn around and offer a future 1 along with Mozgov and/or Rautins to Sac for J. Thompson..Imagine if we could get both JT & Mayo Briggy??

Yup...... Memphis did try and trade Mayo last year though and this is how it starts.
Iverson was late for practice too... A few interviews later he was traded too.

And everyone knows after his contracts up Mayo is out so him being traded is possible.
