It was like a true post player--dont need a back to the basket post--just need someone who cans core--guy scored at will with a very nice touch rebounded fiercely blocked shots and had some nice dishes--first time he looked like a franchise player for us.

What this team needs is another big and an upgrade in the backcourt from the guard position. Ig Mosgov was 2 years along wed be good if Azu came back at 90% but he snot there.

Dont want randolph as a bench player--find a team that like shim and lets swap up goods!

Agreed, hopefully we will get more nights like this. has been getting a lot of heat and he deserves it, but the players play a huge role too. We have talent, there is no doubt, but we need people to step up. We also have some big holes to fill but i think we will get there.

We do have holes but I think we have assets to fill them up. My goal for this team is to not only make the playoffs but play well there--dont care about # of win s after strange start where w e shouldve been 8-4 not 4-8.

This is what happens when this team plays uptempo. Everyone involved, no one napping. Sure, its going to get messy sometimes, but you can tell that they are starting to know their teammates well enough to pass without telegraphing it.

Amare played well and didn't force it last night, but let's not get too excited. He played against a GS team missing 3 of their big men. When a team is starting Vlad Rad, you know Amare is going to beast.

Thats funny - I was just wondering what happened to Vlad and then I turned the game on and there he was.

I wish his post d was better but offensively he has been beastin lately. His help defense has been very good most games. I was glad we got Amare over Bosh and I think its definitely showing right now.

He scored on Beidrins too, who is regarded as a good defender. He didnt get many easy shots. He just made good ones and was very effective

Almundson, Udoh, and B. Wright were all out with Lee right? That's 4. Idk if they were hurt or just out of the rotation.

I think Turiaf really fires up Amare when he is playing along side him... I mean how can you not play harder when that dude is on the court.. what a steal... thank god we got him and not just AR for Lee

agreed, and azabuike will pay major dividends for this team with his shooting once he gets back. subbing in azabuike for bill walker will be a HUGE improvement. if AR every comes around,,,,,,,

Lee was leaving for nothing, so even without Turiaf it's a good deal for us. But what a steal getting a motivational guy like Rony to pump the team up. Now if he could just grab a few more boards we'd be golden.

Amar'e is made even more dangerous when we get good games from Felton and Gallo. That's really the only thing that was missing. You have to have a top 3 plus 6th man to really do damage in this league. Amar'e, Felton, Gallo is the key to everything. When Gallo wasn't scoring and Felton was still feeling his way, it was easy for teams to focus on Amar'e. Now tho, it doesn't matter who we play, teams won't be able to focus on Amar'e and he'll be able to beast like he did out west. They have to have Turiaf of course and really the biggest boost we could get is if AR can transform his focus to be a Marcus Camby type for this team. If he becomes the energy players and defensive terror we need, this team is gonna be a 2nd round playoff team.
