Wilson Chandler, Eddy Curry, $3mm for Tayshaun Prince, DaJuan Summers
Why for Detroit:
Prince and the coach are not getting along. Its ruining any shot of a decent season. And the $3mm doesn't hurt. They may view Chandler as a player who is a) a good soldier b) a guy with similar PER, similar defensive ability and a possibility/chance/window to sign him
Why for Knicks:
Prince is a good spot up shooter with excellent fundamentals. I don't believe he's remotely a bad seed. I would consider him an upgrade over Chandler.
Both teams maintain the expiring status of all contracts.
