After 10 games fans are calling for firings and the media is in full force witht the "who do we blame", "who should get fired" and the asking of former players to tell us all the things that are wrong with the Knicks and why you shouldn't play there. In a matter of weeks if we do not turn it around Amare will be attacked next.

Anyone confident that any of the free agents out there will want to play under those circumstances. At what point does this become a self fufilling prophecy.

I just hope that people will like me

Well a couple of things. There were high expectations headed into this season. Do you agree? Whether that warrants for the sharks to be circling is up for debate. I don't think so yet, but I think it's obvious what aspects of the team performance and coaching have been dissapointing. Some changes will definitely have to be made if improvements aren't made, for example a trade for a more capable PN'R PG if Felton doesn't get better, or perhaps maybe look into finding some frontcourt help if Randolph continues to underachieve and Turiaf doesn't get healthy. If the big picture doesn't change, then yeah, look at the coaching.

I agree though, the "sharks" are going to smell the blood and start attacking MDA and Walsh and Amar'e and Gallo with no base. By sharks, I mean the fans and media that can't think and are just looking for outlandish changes for the sake of it.

I still have faith. We are one light bulb turning on in Felton's head from being a very good team. I like Felton's defense and ability to push the ball. He should accentuate his strengths and give the ball to Gallo to create and run the PnR with Amare.

if by the Allstar break, we're still not playing good basketball, will you still feel that the "sharks" will have no base to start attacking MDA & Walsh?

it depends on whose expectations you are talking about. media? fans? MDA/Walsh? Knicks' ticket sales/marketing dept? i think you will find 4 different levels of expectations.

I don't have a timeline. If I see that no matter what MDA tries, nothing works (Like the PG situation or defensive improvement) then I'll know that this is on the players. If I see he's sticking with the same thing over and over again then I'll put it on him. If I see there needs to be improvement and Walsh can't get a deal done (Even if it's minor) then I'd say yes, it's on him, even though I don't think he's done too much wrong so far.

As of right now, I think this is all mainly on the players as of now. MDA has his faults, but Felton can't run the pick and roll (Not a fault of Walschs. I don't think anyone would have known he sucks at this with Amar'e freaking Stoudemire)) Tufiaf is injured, Randolph and Gallo are still projects in the making and Randolph has effort issues apparently.

There's too much going on to pinpoint one thing.

I agree with all of this, a very fair assessment.
