I think we are already broken judging by our body language. Definitely agree with benching Douglas. Even when he was scoring well during the first few games, he was taking and making some very tough shots.

4 of our last 5 losses are to teams with losing records.

indeed... thats why on one hand this ***shouldnt*** be a make/break trip, and its lame to think the clips might crap on this team to end their own streak. some of these games have let other teams who have been playing just as bad off the hook. they need to get some nuts and put a stop to this real quick on this trip.

i could see kaman doing well too... dunno what to say with this squad. its old now to be the other teams streak breaker so lac or sac getting wins off the knicks wont be a shock.

Not saying that Turiaf will make that much of a difference, but out interior D has been awful eversince Turiaf wnet out and MDA wnet with that small lineup....

I think Clyde took the high road as an MSG employee. They are broken and need to be fixed. There is a void in leadership on the bench and the adjustments are not going to be made there. The only thing that is going to change is Turiaf is coming back. He seems to give the team a lot of positive energy and leadership but I don't think his presence overcomes the lack of a decent coach.

Turiaf? LOL

The coach is supposed to assume the leadership role if their is a void.

D'Antoni is too soft. We need a guy getting in these guys ass 24/7.

Why should Toney Douglas be benched for hoisting three pointers? That is the game plan. That is what the coach wants the players to do.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Young players are around to be screamed at and scape goated by this coach. Fields, Douglas, and Randolph are the current guys who get to experience the raised voice of D'Antoni.

Well I frankly think d'Antoni took it out of the teams hands and put Stat and Felton as team captains. Declaring the teams personality. They don't fit. Would it be better f they had chosen their captains ...doubt it. The leadership starts at the top and the Knicks appear to have a stuck rudder. No changes in course.

Amar'e is not at his best in iso. He shouldn't be in that situation.

But the team seems to have lost belief in themselves and the coach. It's not a team but a bunch of players with no cohesion and no clear leader. If your two co-captains are not on the same page.... how can anyone else be?

Is it the coach?

Well, we are seeing similar things creeping up even though out of 15 players, 10 of them are new. Only 4 regular players returned, Gallo, TD, Chandler, Walker. Then there is Curry, who is not part of anything. So, if the coaching, who is bring them down? Gallo? TD? Chandler? Walker? He has hardly even been here.

Its getting obvious that something is starting to stink from the top.

Look at the Cowboys and what a simple coaching change did.

Olbrannon, you are correct.

How can the same coach single out his most fundamentally sound player (Fields) and his most passionate player?

"At the beginning of the year I didn't think (Turiaf) was that important," D'Antoni said. "But as it goes on he's played a big role."

Turiaf not that important?

Coming from the head coach, that just does not sound right, and hints at a type of selective elitism that leads to locker room cliques... and eventually, locker room revolts.

Every single player, from 1-15, is important.

The fact is that some of these teams are licking their chops, knowing the Knicks are coming. If we are 3-11 after this road trip, I'm done with this season. I made a concerted effort to watch every game and so far, it's been a let down. This team could be 7-3 or 8-2 if they just played smarter. Sucks.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The Knicks could be 3-7, showing signs of cohesion, and it would not be a problem.

The problems is:

- playing Amar'e like a big man, which he isn't. Never, EVER, play him at center and remember, in Phoenix, he only dribbled the ball one time, that's it.

- not allowing Mozgov to play through his mistakes of adjustment. At least he tries on every play.

- not having a single half-court set ingrained well enough so it can be run with ease when things get dicey

- Fields, the best shooter on the team, at 57 per cent, not having more plays run for him. Yes, 57 per cent.

- an undefined role for the talented and tall Anthony Randolph, who could easily be deployed as the point forward we have been waiting for

Hmmm... Coach.... Yeh. Easy solutions.
Look at this players. Except of Fields and Turiaf it's a bunch of low IQ players. Some of them straight retards.
And Fields and Rony are not in the position to lead. One not yet another too late.
This group will not win anything in NBA with any coach but some games playing with a bucnh of even bigger idiots.
