win tomorrow and go 2-2 on this upcoming west coast trip if we have any hopes of salvaging this season.

Its so disheartening we have to dig ourselves out of a hole for about the 10th straight season

I wasn't born with enough middle fingers!!!

the next week of the season is crucial.

if they can salvage a few wins and get some positive momentum they won't be lost.

but if we're looking at 4-10 or 3-11 after the West Coast trip... i agree... it's pretty much over.

If we can tonight we'd be 3 games ahead of last years start of 1-9...Lee out for GS, Baron out for LAC, we have to steal those 2 games this week.

NYK3 - losing to the Wolves is disheartening, but the November-December adjustment period of this new roster is not unexpected.

Besides, it is never good to count wins before they hatch.

No matter who suits up, you still gotta play smart and hit the open man. Houston is not a given.

"WHAT'S NEXT: Quite simply, another potent power forward in Luis Scola, who's averaging a double-double (21.9 points and 11.1 rebounds). And get this -- he's already had a 36-point, 16-rebound game this season. Scola won't be the only Rocket the Knicks will have to stop Sunday at the Garden. Kevin Martin is eighth in the league in scoring at 23.6 points per game. Tonight's tale proved that even a previously 2-7 team cannot be taken lightly, and the Rockets are 2-6 on the season. It's probably a good thing Yao Ming is out for another week."

It's not just about wins, well i mean that sounds really stupid but we barely pulled out some wins thanks to our defense forcing turnovers and allowing us to get fast break points. Our halfcourt offense is so ****ty right now and we cant expect our defense to carry us. it's better than i expected but with the offensive regression we are gonna be in trouble for a while whether we squeak out a few wins or not right now. If we actually could pair this defense with the offense we expected we could be really gooid right now. But D'Antoni has failed to make our offense look at least respectable.

We must continue to suggest changes with the benefit of hindsight.
