The Kings have shopped young big man Jason Thompson, according to ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

Thompson has averaged just 15.4 minutes per game this season with Carl Landry and Darnell Jackson ahead of him on Sacramento's depth chart.

The Suns, Heat and Raptors are all looking for help in their frontcourt and could be fits.

We should be the one's that get him. This guy looked like a possible 18-10 player or close to it until he was hurt mid way through last season. he can block shots hes got a great body hes agile he can rebound score--hed be very nice next to Amare. As much as anything the NO Hornets are BETTER this year becasue of Emeka Ok4 bounding back--I dont think there is much difference between the players physically--emeka a little better shot-blocker thompson better offensive skills. You cant compete in this league without two skill bigs--you cant do it.

I like Thompson and think he would be a great fit. He is good, big and young. He could be a part of the franchise for a long time.

He would be an awesome player for us and a great fit alongside Amare. We should offer Randolph and one of our many SGs (Walker, Rautins, Mason, or Buike.) Sac needs versatility off the bench in the worst way, guys who can play multiple positions. We have some players who fit that well. It seems like we would be very good trade partners.

The question is who would they want? They'd probably prefer a veteran player or a pick.

I dont want Thompson because he is another PF. We need guards.

Gallo, and Randolph were taken in the same draft right around him so their salaries would be close to matching. I would think Chandlers would be close to matching as well. I don't think Walsh would blink if someone asked for Walker or Rautins.

This is completely your fault, the other thread made me think Kevin Love was in Hou not Minny.

BRIGGS - I think you are geting really anstry my friend. Where was the dude that said lets wait until the end of the season to sign Melo. This is just a minor setback. Let's give this crew at least until end of January before trying to get something else. I like this team right now and I am not ready to send AR, Gallo or The Mayor out just yet.

Swap up randolph and give them an extra million bucks--our salary cap is as low as its been we have extra green.

Randolph has dropped his trade value faster than anyone I have ever seen--hes just not fitting here. Sacremento benched Thompson--so lets make a deal. randolph is going to give MDA a stroke.

I think this trade would help... as much as I would absolutely hate to give up on AR.

...or we could just fire MDA and find a real coach who could work with AR.

I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Right now the Hornets are winning becasue Emeka Ok4 and David West are playing a great 4-5 on both sides of the ball.

If we had Thompson who I think could easily do 15-8 50% with one + block here--that differential that we have had--from where we couldve been 5-1 and the terrible blown loss yesterday--maybe thwe Knicks are 7-2.

Would they accept Randolph + 3mm in cash?

I believe he got his first dnp coaches decision in his career last night. I think they would consider it. The contracts have to be close to matching. Weren't they taken two picks a part?

adding jason thompson and rudy fernandez would go a long way towards helping add what this team lacks.
