yeah, we lost to a better prepared team who was shootring the lights out in the third quarter. mo taylor look like the mo from his clippers days when he was avg.18 ppg. ming looked like olojowan wiht the spin moves and range. our frontcourt stunk it up. but look at the difference between games and teams since the last meeting. i noticed that even when the knicks were down by asx many as 19pts. they did not give up and tried to scratch and claw their way back to just a nine point deficit. we just did not get it done. last time, we were so lethargic and careless from the opening tip. no desire to win whatsoever. let's face it, the better team won last night. a defensive nightmare. yoa towered over all of the knicks including mutumbo. houston, as some else said, has our number. we will face teams like that. but the next few games is the test. people, particularly play, were talking about chaney and his win streak. but the thing that chaney had after a winning streak was a bigger losing streak. he would win 4 games and then lose 5 or 6. that is not going to get the job done. we will see if lenny is different by lighting a fire under the team to do well this weekend against atlanta and miami. looking at the scheduel, i think the worst part of it is behind us. the games that worry me are sacremento twice, dallas, indiana, and detroit. everyone else is very winnable. i still feel confident in my team after the lost against one of the best defensive teams in the league. for the first time in two years we held the eigth seed (if only for a day)after november so you have to believe that we will be in the hunt.
