If any of you saw the Knicks get dismantled by the Rockets, then you'll understand that the Knicks need an inside presence. Any word on who they might get? Is Isiah looking at Ildrudis Zylgauskis...or however you spell it, or is there another trick up his sleeve? Any insider info? They need to get an inside presense.

Check the trades threads for details, but some of the names are Sheed, Crawford, and Murray...
Sheed is the player the most rumors are about. Also, since Sheed said he'd only sign an extension to the Cavs or Knicks; the Cavs just traded Darius Miles to Portland. Sheed's still there. Why would they make two separate deals with the same team??
The Knicks will trade KVH to the Blazers for Sheed. Whatever additional players thrown in are interchangeable, but KVH for Sheed will be the core of the deal.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year.
GO KNICKS!

We should kidnap Yao! He is sooo good for only his 2nd year in the NBA Van Gundy is such a good coach. He had some Ewing like shots tonight
If Chaney would have played young players when the season was lost (or if Dolan/Layden would have made him), the Knicks would have had a much better shot at winning the lottery.

This team has needed an inside presence since Ewing left. I hope we get one soon - then we will be good to go.
the scary thing is that people think rasheed is that player. he may be but i haven't seen it in him the past 4 seasons. he'd be a big gamble, but is it worth it? only time will tell...

I dont think Sheed is the answer for what we lost with Ewing - but he would bring another dimension to this team that is is seriously in need of. However I would question Sheeds toughness and inside game since he has apparently fallen in love with chucking 3's. But look at what Walker is doing in Dallas. The right situation will bring out the best in a player. Is NY the right place for Sheed? Lets see if IT can get him.
