I don't think the the jerseys need a drastic overhaul... what I would like to see is the font more understated. Just make it more subtle. But I would keep the colors more or less as is and the basic appearance

When I was watching the game Friday, I felt like the court looked different. The blue on the baselines looked lighter.

The detailing on the Knicks shorts has been awkward and amateurish. The classic 1967 design holds some clues. Rather than the chevron striping down the side, return to the vented detailing that Bill Bradley sported, complimnted with the belted detailing. Tailor the cut of the shorts for a more New York classic feel and less of a passé baggy look.

Then...

Remove the stripes from the sides of the home jersey and update the font of the "New York" to a typeface that holds up when set on an arc without distortion. Letterspacing and curvature should be crisp as a Ray Felton (or Dean Meminger)
bounce pass.

You look good, you play good.

Last but not least

bring back the classic white warmup jackets with an updated collar

Orange shooting shirt as Big Time Danny Whelan would wear

I don't think they should bring that symbol back. Its pretty much a logo of the dominant and historic New York Yankees.

I was thinking about that the other day. I was trying to think when they made that change. But I totally agree. Blue was so much better.

I still remember when they first unveiled these, and they would wear them every once in a while as alternates.. I almost **** my pants... I was so excited.. could not wait to own one... so dope

The Knicks would be wise to revisit this as a home white and update the shorts with the same detailing on the waistband and side vents. As the Lakers established a tradition of wearing white (instead of gold) on Sundays, this alternate design could be the Knicks weekend joints.
