76ers' Andre Iguodala out

PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia guard Andre Iguodala will miss the 76ers' game Sunday against New York because of an injured right Achilles' tendon.

Forward Andres Nocioni is expected to be available despite a sprained left ankle.

Philadelphia lost to Cleveland on Friday night to drop to 1-5.

I know that some thought it crazy that there are those of us who think the Knicks are in the 2nd tier right behind the top 4, but I'm telling you that we're not in the bottom rung of playoff hopefuls and certainly not in the Toronto, Philly range. This team should be looking to get wins against any of the teams that are not clearly in the elite group and Philly is a team we need to focus and get a win against.

Elton Brand is averaging 18pts, 8rebs, 2.5stls, 1.8blks per game. He may be climbing back to being a solid player.

Totally agree. Hoping other teams' players don't dress for a game is a mentality of losing teams. Very much like the Knicks for the past 10 years. You think the Lakers and Celtics care about who dresses and who doesn't before a game begins?

yeah but like Clyde mentions, he has good form, so I think he just needs a lot of practice.
