few guys I believe can do this, but I would bring Kurt on as a player coach type in a heart beat if he was available.

I wonder how many minutes it would take for a younger Kurt Thomas to get ejected with today's rules...

He could be a terrific mentor for Turiaf. KT was also one of my faves. Great role player, excellent career.

I always liked KT. We had a terrible team and folks expected too much out of him. But he was always a solid roll-player. Those teams just needed him to be more then he was.

Now and then. He had all the qualities of the 90's Knicks that we've been sorely missing.

It was also around the time he was traded that opponents started waltzing down the lane on us with regularity.

Loved Kurt, I agree that we asked too much of him. He always played hard and defended dudes much bigger than him. My favorite move of his is when he'd pull the chair from underneath a posting opponent.

Would definitely bring him back as a player coach.

My favorite... drawing charges. Him and Charlie racked up tons of those.

Guy did the best he could. Probably wasted his best years as a Knick playing out of position. He would have won a title next to a real C.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
