One NBA executive thinks the Heat could show interest in center Eddy Curry if he's let go by the Knicks at midseason, according to Alan Hahn of Newsday.

"One NBA exec thinks Heat will quickly sign Curry if/when he's waived in March. His playoff drought (504 games) could end b4 Knicks does," Hahn wrote on his Twitter page.

Do nothing to help Curry get a ring after what he's done to us. He is trade bait. We will let him go after the playoff deadline for free agents or cut players passes.

Call me resentful... but with the way he has completely raped this franchise for his totally undeserved contract and lack of any effort to turn his game around, we should keep Curry 1 day beyond the deadline for Playoff roster eligibility and then release him.... that is if he is not traded first.

After how worthless he has been I am in no mood to do him or especially the HEAT any favors at all.
Let him rot on a bench until the offseason.

...please name the so-called NBA executive who said this. Why is it so confidential? Enough with the fabricated stories. sheesh.

Has there ever been a NBA franchise which has been he subject of more rumors, trade scenarios, coaching candidates or "un-named sources"?

Kind of feel the same way. As an athlete (hate to use the word within 100 miles of the guy) he has been a total disgrace. Any team, especially the heat, should overpay us before we send his butt anywhere.

Why are we still talking about kissing ass to Lebron and his agent? He signed with the heat and we lost assests trying to get him when it ws already predetermined. Him and his douchebag gang deserve nothing but contempt from us.

i keep eddy on the books for a potential melo trade and not for any other reason.

once the trade deadline passes, if he's still a knick - waive him immediately. any team that signs him for a playoff run is burning a roster spot. helps us out a little bit.

LOL. Why would the Knicks cut Curry so he could join another team?? We should help Curry as much as he helped us this year, which is not at all. Let Curry rot on the bench all 82 games.

Come February he can ask for a buyout. He gotta give up some Cheddah for to be free.

Otherwise why help another team?

If he can contibute he will in a knick uniform.

IM not gonna worry about eddy getting ring. The phat Phuch can't stay on the court.
