i know his name has been on the block and he has been stuck on the bench, but i think lenny is under-utilizing him. anderson is probably one of the best defenders on the knicks, probably the best defender at the 2/3 positions, and he could be real valuable. i think he could alternate between shandon and penny, depending on whether we need defense or offense. I don't like trading him for murray unless it opens the door for another deal or if its a pure salary dump. im just afraid that if we start trading away our defensive players (deke, thomas, shandon) we're going to end up like the mavericks - with less offense. I think the guy we should focus on getting is stromile swift - hell patch up our weakest position (4/5) and has huge upside.

who doesn't want a guy like stomile(maybe not the grizz) the knicks might have to give a lot for this trade to happen and they don't have much to give. plus the money might not match-up. stromile is a dude with a lot of potential along with some very good skills.

seems like a pointless deal w/the exception of murray's contract being a year shorter, and a bit cheaper. that would also mean toronto would have to include something else.(maybe a pick) wonder if there's something else up his sleeve. hmmm?
