I am 1-0 in game threads and I'm going to the game tonight (free tickets I won from the contest in the summer way back) so we need some good luck.

I tell you Amare got mauled last night--he got hit hard in the lower legs multiple times and KG worked him over. We need another guy who weighs 260 and can grab a board.

Hope Gallo breaks out of his funk tonight!- he should be well rested after playing so few minutes last night. Also hoping Mosgov does well, he also only played a few minutes yesterday. Hope Rudy doesn't make a point of going off on us. Hmm- this will be a tough game for us, so I'm hoping we win, but I'll understand if we don't (though I'll still be p***ed off about it!). Come on Gallo- enough of your bullsh**! It's time to get it back.

Agreed. Another stinker from the Rooster and I say put in Chandler and make Gallo 6th man. He's playing like trash.

Chandler looked kinda snoozish at the end of preseason and lost with Amare and Felton doing their thing with the first unit. Why not bring Chandler off the bench where he can play his natural position (3 or 4) and which also lets him play a more focused offensive role?

He still gets the same minutes.

I worry that he is going to wear down because of how he plays and how much he has to do for the team to have a chance to win. I like Timofey and want to see him develop but I agree another big body is needed.

You think Amar'e did less in PHX? The guy carried that team down the stretch last year and he played in all 82 games. They said he was the only superstar to do that last year. Amar'e is gonna be monitored and given rest this year.

I didn't say he did less in Phoenix but I did say I am worried he is going to wear down. That is not something you ignore if you are the coach and gm and you invest the kind of money they did in Amare. I think another competent big man would help him out alot.

Unfortunately if he has them d'Antoni may not play them. since he is said to believe they slow the game down and he wants zero/few fouls so the pace is fast and the opponent tired in the 4th period. Hope he was protecting Timo last night and now upset with his play. The officials were one minute whistling everything the next they swallowed the whistles it seems.

I am curious to see how we play tonight - especially since its a back 2 back. I thought we would be competitive with the C's because they are older etc and I think they had a tough week. The Blazers have a nice roster that I do not think we match up well with. However, it is opening night at the Garden so anything can happen.

I still give the Blazers the edge unfortunately.
