Go Shawne Williams(extra rebounding as wel) for Mason(you cant do much worse than 0% shooting!)

Hopefully Gallo makes it to the arena jell free with a good nights sleep--takes an aspirin tapes it up actually plays hard and smart tonight?

I wouldn't mind going Williams for Mason --- Mason on this team to me is useless. IMHO there will always be a better option we can put out there at the 2 whether it be Fields, Chandler, TD, Rautins, Azu when healthy, even Williams. I would sever ties with Mason right now as a matter of fact if possible (why wait for this guy to become disgruntled? A little different situation because Hughes was making top money but I could see a Larry Hughes-type negative effect if Mason is retained but doesn't play---and at this point I don't want him playing), and with that extra roster spot I'd add Dwayne Jones before some other team grabs him. This guy's 6'11" somewhere around 260 lbs., available, good at what he does (he's really got a knack for rebounding the ball and that's what we need most right now) and he should come cheap. Would be a great last-line-of-defense option for Mike to go to in a pinch if at any time any combination of Amar'e/Gallo/AR/Moz/Turiaf isn't getting it done on the glass. And who knows, maybe he comes in and actually beats out Turiaf, maybe even Moz (I actually think Ronny has been pretty good so far but you never know). I've seen crazier things happen before. Jones is out of work right now and looking for a job, he should come in hungry. Not to mention he'd be good insurance in case Moz or Turiaf ever went down for a stretch God forbid..Make the move now and get the best price, our price. If we wait until someone on the frontline even went down other than Amar'e (let's face it, if Amar'e ever goes down we're in big trouble), this guy's price just went up. I'd make the roster move right now and add this dude..For what we need, namely rebounding & frontline insurance, he looks to be our best option, better than Earl Barron...It makes much more sense to carry a guy like this at the end of the bench over going the overkill route with another wing that won't make a difference. It ain't sexy but we're actually stacked at the 2 even w/o Mason Jr. -- meanwhile a backup big like Jones, a guy who really excels when it comes to rebounding the ball, could come in & make a difference for us however as far as suring up one of our team weaknesses. Maybe a big difference..I hear ya on Mullens -- he might be expendable on that team but I've always been an A before B guy -- if they wanna improve the rebounding potential/frontline insurance they should make a move for a guy like Dwayne Jones first and see if it suffices. If not then maybe you think about trading a future 1 for another option.

I hear ya on Gallo -- he's been nothing short of disappointing. They're looking at him to be their #2 guy and he's nowhere near that. Just come out and play hard, play like a man. Play like you have something to prove, because you know what Gallo, you do.

Gallo scares you with how bad he's been. Maybe he's been reading my posts.

Either Rautins or Williams should take Mason's minutes, you're right Briggs. MikeD is basically bringing Mason in to see if he's "on." He misses a couple of shots and then he takes him back out. He could do the same with Rautins.

This would look like a much more potent team if either Walker or Gallo could get untracked.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Gallo needs to regain his confidence. Mason needs to go as he is the very definition of useless.
