Future conditional 1 15 back [2016)I think he can help us with rebounding right now and at 21 I think he could fit in here with the guys we have and grow with them. I mean his agent must not be thrilled with his position and he showed advanced play this pre season--good enough to show he can help this team now and into the future. Mullens can hit that 12 foot jumpshot and has a little bit of a post game but most importantly I think he can rebound in the nBA--he just needs a chance.

a 10th guy off the bench is not likely going to help us with our rebounding problem

This guy is not even worth a 2nd round pick, let alone 1st round pick.

I'd trade Shawne Williams for him.

I'd offer the rights to Jordan plus one of our second round picks from GS. I do think he's a step up from Jordan.

You would think that the easiest thing to do in the short term would be bring in Earl Barron but they dont seem to want to go that route. When I go through NBA rosters looking at potentially attainable 5's I think I would want on the cheap---Mullens looks attractive to me. He outplayed Cole Aldrich in the pre season. He started 1 game and put up 14-8 against the Nuggets who were using their main guys. His per minute rebounding numbers this pre season were very good + he had a good number of blocks. I think that its just a matter of time before he becomes a very decent player--but I think he could help our rebounding today--hes better than Mosgov--there is no doubt in my mind. While he is 3 years younger hes just as athletic with more body-weight and superior offensive skills. Mosgov is being exploited for experience and a lack of fundamental skill. He should/can be effective--but only in a role coming off the bench against 2nd line guys or tired 1st liners. He might have a moment or two but we are force feeding him in the staring line up. I think if we had Barron(or any effective 5) last night we mightve won.

I have no problems bringing him in, but I don't really see him helping us now. The book on BJ is that he's soft and his rebounding stats in the D-League (8.6 rebs per 36 minutes) don't really stand out. He doesn't really go after it as much Timo on the defensive end, but he is younger. It couldn't hurt to bring him in for a look.

With TMS on this one. The rebounding problem stems from the fact that our main rotation guys aren't good at it. To solve that, you either have to hope someone like Mozgov develops into one or you either go out and get a guy that can play 30 minutes a game next to Amare.

Of course, this isn't the only way to improve. We're playing solid D so far and we really need to be more efficient offensively. Hopefully Gallo gets going because that would be the quickest fix.

I really like Gortat. It might take more to get him but he is great in the pick and roll, sets good screens and runs the floor well. I think Orlando would be making a mistake trading him but I think he would excel on the Knicks.

Gortat on the Block?

Look at Gortat, that is what Moz could be.

Who knows what happened with Barron. Fired his agent so maybe the guy blew it.

Moz will get better.

I didn't think Gortat was available. Yeah he would be nice but he doesn't play starter minutes

I don't think he is available but I like his game and think he would be a good fit. I also think he is a bit different than Timofey. He is very polished in the pick and roll and is extremely productive in his limited minutes.
