We finally got our player stats page up and it is surprising to see some early season numbers: Spree hot from downtown, Mark Jackson with the high assist to turnover ratio (although choking from the free throw line), Ward sucking in every category, Thomas collecting the usual fouls...

I like it because it's a lot easier to read than the nba.com one. Also, are you gonna update it after every game?

Martin, you mentioned Spree's hot shooting from downtown, is it something he worked on during the off-season??? The percentages so far are pretty damn impressive!

Haven't heard anything specifically, but my guess is yes. In fact, he looks like he is looking for the 3 pointer. When Houston has his confidence going and is bringing the ball up the court, you can almost tell when he is going to shoot the pull up 3 at the top of the key. This year, Spree has seemed to add that same move.

I am also surprised by Spree's long-range shooting. He han't been known as a 3pt shooter previously, but he's been shooting them well this season. I was surprised to see him shoot 7 treys against the Wiz, and even more surprised to see that he made 4 of them! Long may this continue...
We suck.
