Thats actually a good question, and a pretty good list, although I would exclude walsh and TD..At this point it would have to be AR

I would go with AR because he has been so hyped and thus far has not shown much. Lee was better, but I guess AR has potential. He will take time to develop which is fine, we aren't good enough to contend with the Celtics, LA, Heat or Magic (let alone the other top tier teams) so I say we grow some talent at home and make some good trades without gutting the team or giving away all of our draft picks.

I actually went with Bosh. I'm soooo glad we maxed out Amare and not Bosh.

Agreed that Bosh is overrated, he looks a little soft against the big guys out there. He will get bolder as the season goes on though. I still prefer Stat.

It was David Lee but now it's dead even between Danilo Gallinari and Anthony Randolph.

Voted for Randolph but could just as easily have been Gallo.

Gallinari should win this in a landslide but he won't because he's that overrated on this board.

bosh - good player but not a great player. the guy couldn't get the raps anywhere in the east the past few years and if you want to call yourself a great player you actually have to play like one when it counts.

We'll have to wait a bit on Randolph and Gallo, so as of now, I'm going with Bosh. I still stand by my arguement that he isn't really THAT much better than David Lee. A little bit, but not by much.

Over rated are the vast majority of opinions extropolating preseason into the future.

Including mine.

Nobody is over rated until they have proven otherwise.

Im no big bosh fan, but bosh is really good at what he does, he's a finese big men who has no post game.
Give bosh a nice pick and pop pg like nash and he will thrive. He never had anyone with the rapts worth mentioning, similar to gasol when he was with the grizz. No ruggged big man beside him, no kobe/jordan/vince/AI and a bunch of middle of the pack PG's

If Amare doesn't get any help in NY, we will be singing the same tune about him

i don't view people as overrating AR, they're just hopeful he fulfills the potential they see in him... in terms of overrating i think MDA is highly overrated as an NBA coach. (nixluva in 3, 2, 1...)

except the perception on him has changed a bit. People still think Gallo is an all star/untouchable lol

If i'm reading the results right, Toney Douglas is the most overrated Knick. Think about it.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

At this point it would have to be AR. He's a kid that seems to have been passed right thru and no one bothered to teach him the game of BB. Now we're gonna have to spend precious time teaching him the finer points of the game and really in season that's almost impossible to do. Most we can hope for is that he can handle being the energy play guy that thrives on instinct plays.

I should have added Brandon Jennings. I have never seen such jock riding for a 160 pound PG who shoots 37%

Guys around here talk about him like he's the next Steve Nash

He's no Jordan Hill, that's for sure! Seriously though, we could have gotten better than T-Mac's expiring if it was Jennings.

Either Anthony Randolph or Andrew Bynum.

Gallo is pretty overrated here as well, though I really think he's coming along the way I hoped he would so far. I do think he needs more variance to his offensive game and thats the next big barrier he has to cross.
