I beleive that Curry has lots of talent but he is lazy and refuse to get in shape to avoid these injuries. He spends money like crazy and he really hurt the Knicks. We couldn't even trade him because he was injured. Some I think self inflickted. I beleive he had bad things to say about us with LeCon even though it made no difference of him coming here. Curry and LeCon have the same agent. People like Big Snacks and Curry are no better then people trying to cheat the welfare system. I don't mean people who are down on their luck and need welfare help to get by.

I have no problem with Curry. The problem I have is with the person that brought Curry in. Isiah didn't do his homework on Curry it set the franchise back because he didn't do the proper due diligence. He really needed to ask question a lot of questions on Curry's motivation.

I don't wish Eddy any more bad in his life.

He has all the tools to be great but one. He never had the desire to be a pro basketball player. He like most kids want big money and the privilege of being a pro player. Lots of money and all the trappings.

He also has the tools for depression and if overweight even more health problems.

Seems he will be broke soon enough and I don't what else eddy can do that he can be productive at.

So many around him telling him what he wants to hear who could tell him whats important in life? Who could imagine he could go thru his money like that? Who could tell him he should save more for later?

I wish him well.

Marbury on the other hand was a toxin on the team. Eddy is not. He just exists as an injured cap fodder for a potential trade.

I dont think anyone would think Curry would get worse from Chicago. Curry at least contributed as a scorer off the bench for Chicago. He did nothing on the Knicks. Even sadder when a almost 40 yr old looks to be in better shape than a 26 yr old.

I think an Eddy Curry needs to be on a team with veterans who are leaders. Not the baby bulls or the Isiah Knicks.

Curry would be good in San Antonio or LA.

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Yeah but i think Timmy and Pop would whip EC's ass into shape.
Or Kobe and Phil.

EDIT: I'd pay to watch a reality show of NBA Legends trying to whip EC into shape.

Don't nobody steal my idea.

WTF?!

If you're not just being over-the-top sarcastic, Curry is lazy as all get out and that predated the tragedy. And going broke is all on Curry and not taking care of his cash (by hiring someone to take care of his cash). I can't go after his personal life, but as a basketball player he's been a bust and everyone knows it.

you right, Larry Brown got more out of curry then anybody else has. MDA is not the coach for curry, this is not the system for curry, NY is not for Curry, His mind state and work ethic is just to fragile.

This guy bearly graduated from HS, had nothing but losers in his circle, greedy leaches that took advantage of a young slow kid who was probably tease a lot before he learned how play basket ball.
He's a nice kid that grew up with no real guidence, his confidence has been at ground zereo for most of his life.

this dude's been through some real tragic events in his life, i wouldn't wish any harm on him regardless of the fact he's been a total waste of an aquisition for us... i hope he does some soul searching & gets off his lazy butt one day & gets over his depression that he is more than likely experiencing right now... in terms of basketball i can't wait for him to be off our payroll.

yeah seriously. wishing the dude goes broke is a bit over-dramatic. dude is a human-being, and a sloth at that, but wishing ill on somebody over basketball is a bit much.

The NBA needs to devote a portion of players salaries towards full-time life coaches, financial advisors, nutritionists and the like. For the amount of money that gets completely blown on contracts because of purely mental issues or bad influences, I think just a small amount of money on 24 hour supervision to give these players much needed guidance would be a great return on investment.

The simple fact is a lot of these NBA players come from broken homes, broken environments and only those that have strong mental toughness or strong parent(s) are able to truly succeed.

Rose is not the answer.

Say what you want about Marbury, but at least the dude came into training camp in decent shape. It just boggle my freakin mind how Curry is content is willing to let his career go to crap without a fight. I'm actually rooting for the guy to turn things around, but I'd prefer that he do it on another team.

This was not at his kids. It was at Curry. I'm very disappointed at you Mr. Earl to wish the death of any person's child. I guess I judge you wrong. You can wish I go broke thats ok with me. But wishing that I had a 9 month old child killed is sick! You need to check you self Misterearl. That was a sick statement.

I can take back wishing he goes broke but it is rummored that he was rolling with bad people and when you do business or hang with the wrong people bad things happen. All the money he is making and he had to borrow money (an advance) from the team. If he really love his family then he must do the right thing. the man has talent but he is lazy. This is the last year on his contract and he was the last man to come into camp and overweight and out of shape. He needs to do the right thing. For him and his family and stay away from the wrong people.

Get your stories straight:

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/2009/01/24/2009-01-24_sources_son_3_of_knicks_center_eddy_curr.html+

Eddies 3 year old son saw his mom and his half sister (not by Eddy) get killed.

So its not his kid that was killed.

Eddy got "Little Dexter" at home.

Don't blame Eddy and Jerome James, blame a system that hands money to these players who don't due enough back ground checks on these guys.

Or just blame Isiah!
