NEW YORK KNICKS
It's the dawn of a new era in New York, but don't expect playoff basketball to come to Madison Square Garden this season.

” "[Amare] Stoudemire's not worth $100 million, and everybody's worse without Steve Nash, but the ball will touch his hands enough for him to put up the same numbers he always has. But he wouldn't guard a plate of food if he was starving. Even so, I like him and Anthony Randolph on the front line. Randolph can be a star. The way Don Nelson treated him in Golden State was borderline criminal."
"I don't think the Knicks' guards are good enough for them to make the playoffs. I don't like Ray Felton at all. He's a streak shooter whose decision-making is horrendous. He's not a true point guard, he's more of a combo, and he's not a great athlete to boot. And you can't make adjustments on the fly with Ray, because his basketball IQ's not high enough. I don't like D'Antoni either. One of their players told me they've gone months without discussing defense in practice."
Best-case scenario: "34, 35 wins and miss the playoffs."
Worst-case scenario: "32, 33 wins."

Ok i won't blame anyone for guessing we don't make the playoffs. That is fine with me. But it is pretty rediculous when our BEST CASE SCENARIO is that we don't make the playoffs and only win 34-35 games tops. I would clearly say our best case scenario (stop me if i sound completely crazy and unrealistic) is that we make the playoffs at a low seed (6-8) and finish slightly above or at .500. Once again, it is okay if people don't think we are making the playoffs and we only are going to win 34 or 35 games, but to say our best case scenario is still not making the playoffs and finishing well under .500 is just plain stupid. If it was ever clear how much ESPN hated us, this is it.
