We need him to get to the free-throw line like he did last night, as it shows his aggressiveness and makes him not so much a one-trick pony. Plus it's obvious he's going to shoot 85% from there. I liked what he did yesterday because his offense was more balanced. When he is in a zone he should be able to shoot 3s non-stop, but his ability to keep the defense honest and get to the free-throw line will make him an all-star in the near future if it is utilized.

He lacks consistency. One game you see flashes of being a good player then you get a player that wants nothing to do with driving to the paint. I have a feeling this is going to be a long season of excuses.

Its the coach--the moment I saw Gallo and Randolph setting up 25 feet from the basket I knew trouble was lurking.

T-Mac said the same thing. Another problem is that once the opponent shoots everyone is taking off to get fast break points and forgetting about securing the rebound. D'Antoni has to do a better job of getting the team prepared. So far MDA has failed the team the most. There is no way that Randolph should be parked outside the three point line I don't care if he occasionally nails a three. He should be in the post and no more than 10 feet from the basket. As for Gallinari he needs to get it going and drive with some reckless abandon and please for the love of God he needs to develop a mid-range game.

I have said this before and I will continue to say it. Chandler is the second best player the Knicks have behind Amare. Chandler has shown consistency and his shooting ability is coming to light with his proficiency he is by far the best defender on the team.

When your two 6-10/6-11 guys are 26 feet from the basket--how are we going to rebound? Anyone have an excuse?

MDA would say something while laughing like they are 6'11 but they really aren't and chuckle like its nobody's business.

Not to defend Mike D, but you gotta admit it when your 2 6-10/6-11 players are also your best outside shooters and you depend on them to spread the floor, it can be hard to get them close to the hoop.

The key for Gallinari is getting a midrange or post game. He's either living at the 3, or trying to take it all the way to the hoop (which is much harder when he starts his move beyond the arc). I wanna see pump-fakes, two dribbles in for an 18-foot pull-up jumper; I want to see him post up smaller players whenever he gets someone like Rondo guarding him. He adds this to his game, and not only will his FG% rocket, but with his herky jerky dribble, it'll be much harder for defenders to know whether he's going all the way to the hoop or stopping for a pull-up, resulting in more fouls and trips to the line.

Gallo had half a dozen rebounds in the first quarter against the Wizzies. He's the main guy crashing the boards. If everyone else did that instead of running to the other side of the court, we'd be set as far as rebounding is concerned.

Then we could concentrate on convincing our guys to PASS THE MF ROCK instead of hoisting up 3s with 15 seconds left on the clock. Ball movement > SSOL.
