I wonder if Walsh has a "Things to try to Motivate Eddy" list...

If Mason doesn't work they should try and get this guy to help Curry.

I don't think this has anything to do with Curry. This has everything to do with Donnie seeing how Mase handles a very difficult, frustrating coaching situation. It's a live audition. That's it

I agree with you if Mason can turn curry around he would have accomplished the impossible. With that said if Mason were able to get Curry turned around he can pretty much have a job with any organization.

Interesting point.

Mason is also a direct link to a better time in the team's history, and a team linking up with players from its past is a good thing for any franchise, IMO.

It said Mason is also trying to lose weight, so basically they are buddying up on this situation. Anthony really has to step up his game then, when it comes to his own weight loss, because if he wants to help Curry, he has to show that what he's doing is at least working on himself and that he's putting in the effort.

Regardless, Curry is hopeless at this point.

Mase is going to be our rat fink and keep tabs on him.

I love the article about kNicks not reaching out to former players.

Maybe some of them were not really qualified. If Oak was really serious, could have not landed somewhere else over time? Starks was talked about for while and got a ABA coaching gig that went know where. Starks is not qualified.

Bring in an icon like ewing is not a good idea. Eveyone wants him to return greatness and expecations are silly. Ewing would have failed as a head coach here and if he undermined the head coach to get the lead job its not based on qualfications. HE got his jobs on merit and is paying his dues.

Monroe has had outside business interests. What did the team do to diss Clyde? Reed was given big jobs and was not successful. Debussure was a great guy but was not a great GM.

These guys get paid a ton of money while playing and while it nice to be sentimental some players who want to get into coaching have to earn their way in.

Mase wants in? What has he been doing for 10 years that qualifies him?

What qualified Oak? Oak a good coach cuz he was Oak?

Can you teach the "Oakness"?

totally agree. Good player doesnt = good anything else. Sometimes it does but some of the best coaches were terrible players. Phil Jackson sucked as a Knick. He was like Anthony Bonner or something. Ewing is working hard and if he's good he will get a shot.

Has Michael Jordon done anything positive in the NBA since playing? He did bring Kwame Brown back.... again.

$5 Eddy Curry ends up with a black eye and a broken jaw. No way Anthony Mason has patience with this loser.

To be fair to Walsh, at least he's somewhat embracing our more successful past rather than push it away and lock it out like the previous regime was more than inclined to do. If anything, it's good will towards us.

And they should go all the way: get Oak as his personal motivational speaker.

Curry needs surgery to give hims some b*lls that actually work. The dude has no heart, which is really the entire problem. He refuses to play through pain. This guy is out for 6 weeks for injuries that most other guys would simply play through. That is his real problem more so than his weight, even though losing another 20 lbs would not hurt him (and that is assuming he is near his weight from last year, if he balloned up again, he will need to lost 40 lbs).

Brain surgery is dangerous... I don't think he should go for it.
And Eddy had well known heart problems in Chi. They were avare he has no heart but Isiah thought it will grow back.
IT should been reading medical books. Hearts are not growing after 18th birthday anymore.
